Sirius smiled sweetly. She continued eating until both of them had finished. "I'll pick up the tab."
Standing, Sirius walked off to pay the bill. She returned to Duo with a fresh, warm chocolate chip cookie. "I heard you liked these, so I figured I'd get you one for desert."

Smiles and takes it breaking it in half and offering the other half 'Well you know your way to win a guy's heart. Food' as he chomps down on his half, grinning at her.

Sirius smiles and bites at her half of the cookie. "Fortunately I'm a GREAT cook..."
She toyed with the thought that she could actually get a guy just for her cooking.

Sirius smiled back at Duo. "Yeah, sharing an apartment would be fine by me. How many bedrooms, and what's the rent?"

Smiles and helps her to her feet gently '2 bedroom....well one bedroom but I normally sleep on the couch anyways and rent is 100. That okay?' smiles ta her.

"Yeah, that sounds good."
So it was one room...two if you counted the livingroom and couch as a room. Sirius couldn't help but smile.
She walked outside with Duo, following him to his...their apartment. Sirius waited while Duo fummbled with the keys to open the door.

Opens the door to their apartment....inside is a well kept home, over looking most of Tokyo. 'to the left is the bedroom, door next to it is the bathroom.' Points to the right 'Kitchen in their'

"Okay, thanks for the tour." She smiles, walking to the bedroom and walking in. "So when do you want rent?"

Chuckles 'right down to business huh? Next rent's not due for 3 more months...Quattre gave me a surprise and paid off a good 4 months rent. So been saving up my money....planning to get one of those new Motorcycles that's been big over back home in the U.S.'

Nods 'yeah...hell I thought if I can't go back home might as well enjoy a piece of home here.' rubs his neck as a call came in on the vid screen near Sirius. 'Can you answer that? I gotta run and grab something out of the bedroom.'

"Oh...sure."
Sirius wondered what Duo had in the bedroom that he had to get. She walked to the video screen and pushed a button to answer the call.
"Hello?"

The screen pops up and Quattre appears 'oh um...I think I dialed the wrong number.....My apologies miss I did not mean to disturb you.'

Duo:
Opens a drawer and pulls out his black baseball cap and a few other things that he'll need to change so he doesn't walk in on Sirius.

Sirius recognized the face immediately...Quatre was quite the social figure, after all. "Oh, no...you have the right number...assuming you're trying to reach Duo Maxwell." Sirius smiled charmingly. "I'm his new roomy...my name is Sirius."

I smirked as I watched the boy, girl, and vidscreen in the room below. The Winner kid would be an easy enough kill. Target eliminated... but they were Gundam pilots, and used to missions as complex as the ones I run with Schwarz. The girl? Inconsequential; maybe a slight challenge to take out but her mind wasn't too shielded... Ahhh well fun no matter what. Easily reconciled.

Strangely enough, this was a solo mission. I was supposed to get inside Maxwell's mind, learn some fun stuff, after I offed the Winner kid. Or was it the other way around? It didn't much matter; as I'd already taken a good hard long look at the Maxwell boy, that it would be so much easier to gain my information by simply seducing the boy. Not that the idea wasn't pleasant; indeed, the idea was quite appealing.

So the decision was made.

He'd make Maxwell his.

Stuck his head out and looked to Sirius 'Who is it?' a smile on his face as he pulled on a clean shirt and tossed a few items by the couch he was gonna need later.

"It's Quatre. Would you like some privacy talking with him? I can go in the other room and wait."

Shakes his head 'No I'm sure whatever Quattre has to say he can say in front of you as well'
Walks to the vidphone 'Hey Quattre what's going on?'

Q: 'Duo we need to run the final tests on our Gundams today can you come down to the Preventers HQ?'

'Sure no problem gimme 10 minutes alright?'

Hangs up and looks to Sirius....'wanna tag along? Quattre would like to meet you and I'm sure you can look over the new mods to DS, since you are Prof G's daughter you might give Quattre's people some insight.'

"Sure, tagging along sounds like fun."

Sirius shifted her backpack on her shoulders, obvisiously going to take it along for the ride. "So, how are we going to get there?"

'Quattre's sending over a preventer vehicle to take us it'll be here in 20 minutes, so relax.' Rubs his neck wearing his typical all black, priest-like clothing. 'So you live on colony 02 with your family?'

 

[Trista]

"Not really." Sirius sighed. "My mother died giving birth, and Professor G is too busy in his mobile suit research to take care of me. I don't know of any relatives... I've taken care of myself since I was mentally able. Professor G sent me money at first, but that ceased after I could get a job. I only see him when he hires me to do work as a mechanic and/or test pilot."
