I have a new favorite Ben and Jerry's ice cream. It's called Primary Berry something. Oh goodness. I forgot the last word! It's a strawberry cheesecake ice cream with a thick graham cracker ribbon. Mmmmmm, it's like strawberry cheesecake, but in an ice cream.

I am a big french fries freak myself. It's not necessarily good for you, but I love them kinda crunchy on the edges and soft in the middle. Ore-ida makes em great ... with ranch dressing of course.

Rocky III's the one I was watching. AMC's been showing all the Rocky movies all week. My fave still has to be the first one. The theme of going the distance just really speaks to me. I still cry every time I see it.

Yes, there is something quite special about getting the original of anything from the original source. In this case, eating at Pizzeria Uno in Chicago (not at the franchised outlets bearing the name - they do not have the use of the original recipe) is an experience I think all pizza lovers should have at least once.

Watching my favorite TV programming without everyone in the house banning it because they don't like it. Such programming would be any of the forensic sciences shows and true crime on A&E, TLC and Discovery; the suspense movies on Lifetime, and some of the shows on Food Network and Fine Living.

Body butters, such as Lemon, Nut Butter and Vanilla that contain shea butter.

Spa Day. The only draw back is I have to do it all to myself, lol, but it makes me feel so good. I love whipping up little concoctions, soaking and masking and smoothing, lol, it just feels wonderful. I used to make my own soaps and bath soaks, that made it even better.

Taking pictures of myself with my webcam. For me, it's a form of self expression, much like writing.

And now, writing. I've been writing poetry off and on since I was 15, and using writing as a means of venting for as long as I can remember. It is a very common thing for me to write someone a letter, pour out everything inside me, and then tear it up or delete it. I've always felt I have so many stories inside me and now I've finally started my first story. It's odd to me that I chose erotica as I find it to be something felt so intensely and deeply that you can't ever completely express it in words; and that I chose to write it from a male perspective completely amazes me. I'm the type though that once my mind is made up to do something, I go for it "big time".
I think I'll do better with stories offering twists and bits and pieces of my own life, I think they'd sell like pizza in Chicago.

Coffee with Kahlua or Baileys in it. Lots of it.

"DOTS". I have such an oral fixation that involves sucking, these fit the bill almost perfectly.

A perfect frozen pina colada that is creamy and filling and so intoxicating that I can't have more than two and still be able to stand up.

Lying on my sofa with pillows and a chenille comforter, candles and simmering potpourri, all the lights off, and either playing music or watching a really, really good movie.

Literotica, simply because I'm alone so much and I enjoy the company of people that can't see me, won't be knocking on my door bugging me, and that I can turn off or on at will. (I know that didn't come out right.) In other words, I love to talk, have no one to talk to most of the time, and enjoy the fact that in this venue, I am completely in control. I can sit here nude, I can work on several people/things at once, lol, and I can pretend to not be here if I don't feel like taking part or even witnessing all the things that are hurtful or wrong about Lit.

I'm not much into seeing graphic images/porn, but an occassional hairy chested av is one guilty pleasure I have no shame in admitting. Lit is perfect for this, especially if you know the person in the av.

The way my dog follows me around and sits at my feet all the time, especially when he senses I'm upset.

Heh-hah. Since so many people I 'know' here are already in with their two centavos, I suppose I ought to add mine...

In no particular order:

Long hot showers. Hot as a body can stand. I do some of my best thinking in the shower. I also run out the hot water. (sheepish grin)

Windriding; standing on the highest point I can find, spreading my arms, and just letting that stiff wind blow all around me. Closest thing to flying I can get.

Reading and writing here at Lit. It may not have the consistent pull it once did, but it's still a guilty pleasure when I am here.

Old, subtitled episodes of Iron Chef.

Watching Olympic ice skating.

Martial arts flicks. I grew up around them.

Really good swordfighting movies.

Being able to get spendy with the food budget when my housemate is out of town.

Roleplaying, online. Good with friends when spinning tales of adventure, writing fragments of interactive fiction.

Better when writing with someone who has a handle on what they're doing. The best roleplay sessions practically write themselves.

-Really- guilty pleasure: When the roleplay turns into something rather explicitly erotic. Doesn't happen often, because it takes a few hours to run through, but when it does....the wait is worth it.

Writing journal entries, e-mails, and erotica that few people will ever get to see. That's the definition of guilty right there -- because it's a secret shared between people I trust to enjoy the moments that the reading will provide.

Fantasizing about a few friends, past and present, who may or may not realize that I had/have a crush on them.

Writing journal/newsgroup entries anonymously, where lots of people who I'll likely never meet can see. And by doing so, being able to find a /voice/ for all the pain and pleasure I can muster out into the world -- without worrying about what my friends will think of me afterwards.

Amen to freedom of speech, from someone who has spent entirely too many years keeping silent.

Howling at the moon. Best done in empty parking lots.
