Cast sounds interesting,

but I, too, have never read them.
Is a bit of plot synopsis possible and the genre?
Also what each character does for a living and if a 'good guy or bad guy' in the book.

Okay. Here's some info

Anita Blake is an animator and a vampire executioner. Ironically enough, she is the human servant to the vampire Master of the City who is Jean Claude. Jean Claude's second in command is Asher and JC's animal to call is the Wolf. This is where Richard comes in. Richard is a werewolf (a lycanthorpe). Micah is a wereleopard. Richard is the Ulfric (werewolf king) Micah is the Nimir-Raj (leopard king) Anita is the Nimir-Ra (leopard queen). Okay, let's see...

Anita has a sexual relationship with Jean Claude, Micah and once upon a time with Richard.

Damien is a vampire, over a thousand years old. He is Anita's servant.

Jason is Jean-Claudes <i> pomme de sange </i> and is also a werewolf. Basically, Jason provides blood and sex to Jean Claude and is a stripper at JC's club, called Guilty Pleasures.

Nathaniel is Anita's <i> pomme de sange </i> and is a wereleopard. He does not have sex w/Anita but does sleep with her and Micah most nights. He is a stripper as well.

Zane, Cherry, Vivien, Gregory, and Elizabeth are all wereleopards. Cherry use to be a nurse. The others not much is known about.

Lilian, Sylvie, Jamil, Stephen and Shang-Da are werewolves. Jamil and Shang-Da are Richard's bodyguards.

Edward ( I forgot to list him before) is a bounty hunter, friends with Anita, and a sociopath who has this fantasy about one day hunting Anita and finding out which of this has a better and quicker gun draw. Secretely, I just think he's in love with her. He expresses that she is is soul mate in book 9 of the series.

Dolph is Sgt. Rudolf Storr. A human police sgt in charge of preternatural affairs. Hates that Anita is becoming more monster than human.

Belle Morte is the vampire who created Asher and Jean Claude.

I hoped this was what it was when I read the title.

Great books to base a RP thread on...Ive seen it attempted more than a few times but none of them have really lived up to their potential.

Its been a year or so since I read the books and I haven't read the 2 latest ones, but Ill see what I can do...

One question? Are we sticking to the book your thread is named after or breaking out on our own plot line? I assume the characters will be in "role" as the Hamilton has written them, with our own quirks added to them, but what direction do you wish us to go in?

Great Idea of yours to do this...I enjoy Hamilton and her characters greatly.
