I made a post as Guileful that very obviously couldn't have come from me. I've never been to San Antonio for starters, and I'm sure the other people at this lit together can tell you I surely was not there, but guess who was? Yessir, Bob sure was.

Yeah, I'm familiar with it. In a class I'm taking now, we're actually dealing with all 5 books from his khamsa. I was acquainted with Leyli and Majnun, Khusrao and Shirin, and the Haft Paykar, but really didn't know anything about the Makhzan until recently. It's pretty cool, though much more abstract (so less narrative)--there's discourses about how the pen is better than speech, etc.

Oh, and my Persian sucks at the moment. We should practice.
