Since Design wants to set the record straight. Let's do it right.

First off, I did post as marximus.
I did the spotlight threads.

At the time, I was friendly with Design and we would laugh and crack jokes about others on Lit, and share dirt back and forth. Something I never should have done.

When I first noticed guileful posting, I had no idea who the troll was at all. And I wasn't really concerned about the identity either. Whoever it was, they certainly had a lot of dirt on people, and weren't afraid to use it.

I asked Design flat out if she was guileful, because she was at the top of my list of suspects. She told me that she wasn't, but that she did know who guileful was. I told her that I knew who marximus was, and that I'd tell her if she told me who guileful was. She agreed. So I told her that I was marximus, and she told me that she was guileful. I told her that I wouldn't reveal her identity.

In Yahoo messages, she told me that another troll was feeding her a lot of really juicy information, and that's when the shit really began hitting the fan.

To anyone I offended with my spotlight threads, I'm sorry.

The only contact I've had with Bob since his involvement with Eumie ended was other people sending me huge PMs that MWG and Bob had written to them containing much the same information as was used by Design as guileful.

Those PMs, btw, were sent roughly 1-2 weeks prior to the guileful trolling.

Yes, I've kept them. They were forwarded to me by the people whom Bob and MWG sent them to. I will say that I've always thought it was relatively stoopid to send that sorta stuff to people with whom I'm known to be friendly. Obviously it's against the rules to post them. I've always felt that forwarding PMs (with the permission of the people who provided them to me) is sort of a grey area...

So when the guileful stuff hit, I pointed out all along that it didn't really matter to me who the troll was, as I knew where the information and false information came from.

I sincerely doubt that Laurel was involved in any way whatsoever ... one of them just dropped her name to make their claims more legit.

However, I'm not at all surprised seeing Alexandraahh's name coming up as part of the RegisteredTroll controversy. I remember her making an accusation about Someplace and Bluesboy in a thread. When Someplace confronted her on it, Alexandraahh disappeared ... BUT she apologized in PM to Someplace and Bluesboy.

Can't wait for the morning when Someplace sees these threads.

When Loving Tongue posted a portion of a chat transcript that he had had with Bent in his sigline - I sent Laurel a PM complaining about how wrong that was and how it violated rules (just imagine everyone posting our private chat transcripts in pm's). Apparently she didn't give a rat's ass because he had that same sigline for weeks it seems.

Yes, beautiful downtown Pflugerville! You should check out European Bistro if you're ever down this way. It's best to go for lunch as then you can wander through this really neat little Czech glass shop around the corner. I can't remember the name right now...they have the most gorgeous perfume bottles there.
