Do you think you have one?
Tonight I learned that I really do. And suprisingly enough it is Calypso_21.
I made an impromptu visit tonight...about half way there I called just to check in and told her the roads were icky and there was snow she said well turn around and go home then, but PMS and a bad day perservered and I finished my journey to her house. We had a nice visit and as I was leaving coat on keys in hand she said "You cant leave yet, I have to give you something. I dont know what but something" She searched around the house coming up first with a box of chocolates *YUMMM* but she said that isnt it there is something else...
she wandered around as I sat at the kitchen table impatient to begin a long drive home. When she reappeared she was carrying a small gaurdian angel pin. And she told me I needed to have it. I took it with the good thought intended and was on my way. It was windy as hell and cold. I hit a few slick patches but figured the main roads would be fine. I got on the highway and after a minute took a sharp blind curve to see a car head on in the guard rail and another behind it. The police were just arriving.
Had I left her house when I intended I would have been right in the thick of a very very messy car accident.
So, call me superstitious, call it a coincidence...call it whatever you like but I am Now quite sure my guardian angel has a cute butt and a winning smile
So just so you all know me AND my box of chocolates made it home safe
But now is the real question, do YOU believe in guardian angels? Have you ever felt like one saved your butt? Care to share?
