Aka looked down at the world below his feet for a second he had seen it many times before approximatly 4000 times had he stood there before the high court waiting for his next sentence.

He looked up at the judge and awaited the verdict, the judge spoke

"Akasumeske Ueraide your next sentence will be to spend 10 years on earth serving a 19 year old girl"

He sighed and said

"What another girl you have to be joking all they want is clothes, clothes an dmore clothes actually if its not clothes its boys" he personally did not understand the relationship between a female and a male he had never "lived" on earth, had never concieved in something humans called "sex" most angels hadn't and ones that did weren't spoke of again.

"Silence Akasumeske Ueraide this is your sentence tkae it willingly or not now bye"

He sighed and looked down as the ground approached his feet , he landed in a classroom full of students sitting in chairs, they couldn't see him only the girl would be able to see him, he looked around and spotted her, he was right behing her, he bent his head down and whispered in her ear

"Hello"

She jumped startled at the voice, she'd been sketching in her notes again. It was tough to focus on statistical analysis when all she really wanted was to get back to her place so she could finish the wedding dress.

At first she'd done everything to talk her friend out of getting married, but since Hilary was pregnant nothing she said would convince her, so now Jenna was sewing the wedding dress along with the bridesmaid gown. She had designed the dresses herself teasing her friend that she wasn't going to wear something hideous or orange. Hilary had laughed back and told her the dresses were going to be brown.

Dust would be a better description, though at least it didn't clash with her brown hair. Jenna finally turned towards the greeting wondering how someone had snuck up on her without hearing it. What she saw nearly made her drop her pencil.

She had trned around a shocked expression appeared on her face he grinned and said

"Hello, my name is Akasumeske Ueraide but thats quite hard to say well for a human anyway just call me what you want to well anyway whats your name they don't tell me their names just what gender they, very annoying"

she didn't seem to answer him a still shocked expression on her face, he looked around and noticed he still had his wings out he hurriedly clicked his fingers, they vanished in a puff of flames

"Sorry about that i normally forget to do that so no worries"

She closed her mouth, she was either hallucinating or on one of those crazy reality prank shows. She looked around for a camera and finding nothing out of place, decided she was hallucinating. After all how else could she explain the wings and the long unpronouncable name. She pinched herself to check to make sure it wasn't a bizarre dream.

She was twirling her pen in one hand the other smoothing her hair back behind her ear, "What?" was all she could figure to say and when someone looked at her and gave her the dirty 'I know you don't study and still are going to ace this class and I hate you look.' Luckily the class was nearly over as she waited for the other shoe to drop.

"What?"

He sighed and crossed his legs, hovering in the air he moved over to her side and said "ok ok ok il explain it more deeply" he retrieved a small book from thin air and opened it

"Hello" he grabbed her hand and shook it rather vigouriosly

"My name is Akasumeske Ueraide, but you may call me Aka or anything you wish as i am your guardian angel yada yada yada" He turned a page in the book

"As your guardian angel i must do anything you command me to do, Also as your guardian angel i am beside yor side 24/seven unless you command me not to be also as your Guardian angel i must protect you whenever you are in danger whether you summon me or not"
He closed the small book and put it on her desk, which she didn't even touch

"Oh sorry it's ok they can't see me only you can so there isn't much to be worried about!"

"You come with a manual?" it was funny, he was funny, so serious yet right there, and she opted to do a little test before asking him to do all sorts of crazy stuff. She stood up as class ended gathering her books and asked one of her friends if they saw that wierd guy.

"I don't see anyone I haven't seen a zillion times before, are you sure you feel okay Jenna?" her friend asked.

"Yeah, I'm fine I think the wedding has me stressed out." She chatted a little and then was weaving her way out the door with Aky, which was the worst nickname ever right behind her.

Once they were in the clear she pulled out her cell phone as if she was making a call. "So does everyone get a guardian angel when they turn 19 or is this a masterful birthday prank?" She doubted anyone was listening but just in case she didn't want to be thought of as one of those freaky girls who saw things and talked to themselves and had a ton of cats.

"Hmmm well i don't really know its something we aren't allowed to know only God, Higher Angels and the Arch Angels themselves sort that stuff out but all the people i have "served" have grown up to be in leadership or of some importance, george Bush had a Guardian Angel but that didn't work out..."

he paused

"Wait a minute i ain't no birthday prank i can do anything go on tell me to do something"

The idea of George Bush having a guardian angel was almost as funny as the thought of herself being important. Sure she was smart, funny, okay looking, considered a good catch, then again she was the kind of girl you bring home to meet your mother, not the type your mother catches you having sex with. She was about to ask about his limitations, after all if she could have Jeremy in her bed with no risks and wipe his memory. She mused and decided that desire was pretty unworthy and up there with date rape. "Make the Deans hat fall off," she pointed out the dean who was wearing a self important hat, besides the day was perfectly calm no breeze.

He looked at her questionally "Make the Deans hat fall off, your joking right...fine ok whatever"

He pointed his finger at the dean and then clicked them, the dean who was walking around near them felt his hat just topple off, he grunted and rached down to pick it up.

"see i told you."

He acted like she was supposed to ask him to do something bizarre, and while sure her mind thought of a zillion things she could ask, she didn't think it would be smart to be flying around in front of a lot of people. She watched amaused as the Dean chased hit hat.

"I guess I expected a guardian angel to be more, well aloof." She was still walking and she caught the bus right away.

He followed her onto the bus and sat behind her, a boy came to sit where he was but Aka said

"Seats taken mate" the man looked around rather bewildered by why he was still standing and then went past the seat sitting behind Aka who leaned forward and rested his head on the top of the seat next to Jenna and said

"You do realise you are wasting your time here right i could get you home in a second well not to breg but i could get you home in 0.04 seconds"

"Well I think it might be a little strange if I just dissapeared, besides isn't that kind of a frivolous?" She was slowly getting used to the idea of having Aky around she hadn't yet thought of the lack of privacy it was all too wierd and she figured that once she got back to her place then she could really test his limits. "I wonder," she paused deciding against voicing anything like a wish while he was around.

"Well I think it might be a little strange if I just dissapeared, besides isn't that kind of a frivolous?"

He looked around and said

"I doubt any of them wuld notice all look a bit demented to me...oh fine i guess i can wait i've existed for 4577 years i guess i can wait 5 minutes"

He floated up and moved forward into th seat next to her, then turned his head back to the boy who had tried to sit in the seat he had been sitting in "Oy you yeah you can sit down now" the boy got up out of his seat and sat down in the seat Aky has just mved from.

Aky turned to Jenna and said

"Thats not 4577 earth years oh no, its 10 earth years to every one of our years so i n your years i have been alive even longer well i have been alive since Jesus was born, brilliant man he was very friendly, too bad your stupid civilisation had to go and hang him at the cross.

Oh well are we there yet"

Jenna took the next stop and walked the short distance to her appartment, "Has anyone ever told you you're really wierd? Old and wierd," she said looking at him again, he didn't look all that old and she wondered if his other charges had just accepted him or if he was enjoying pestering her.

"So what's all in the manual?" she would read it later, but for now she wanted to know what she needed to know about him. She was also glad she didn't have a room mate as she tossed her stuff down, "I mean are you going to keep offering to do stuff for me that I shoud do for myself? Are you going to scare off my friends?"

He folowed he roff the bus and followed her down the road

"Old and wierd,"

He grinned and said "We don't have a concept of Oldness we are molded into an image mine thankfully was a 24 year old male some angels get it bad one was a 76 year old female."

"So what's all in the manual?"

"bah it just has descriptions of everything i can do, what you can tell me to do, what you cannot tell me to do for example at this moment in time noone else can see me but if you told me to rveal myself then everyone would be able to see me the same way they see you but if you ordered me to say kill someone, i wouldn't be allowed to do it.

It also contains all the words which summon me to you and the word which will send me back up there if you don't want anymore help."

"Well I would be a pretty sucky charge if I wanted you to kill someone. So do you have a purpose or are you just supposed to help me reach my potential? She headed for kitchen grabbed a drink, "Not having to buy groceries would be pretty cool."

It was wierd to think about the idea of sending him away or summoning him to her, she figured it would probably be a good idea as she didn't want him watching her in the bathroom and watching her while she slept was a little creepy.

"So you just have to hang around and do what I say?" she sat down on the couch. "Sounds limiting, I mean don't you have any outside interests?"

"So do you have a purpose or are you just supposed to help me reach my potential?"

he sighed and said "No we don't have have a purpose well us guardian angels anyway, we were created by the arch angels who's purpose is to too God's bidding"

"So you just have to hang around and do what I say, Sounds limiting, I mean don't you have any outside interests?"

he said "I don't just do what you say, you literally control my existance also Whats the point of a Guardian Angel having "Outside interests" i can do almost anything."

"I just figured you might get bored when I'm sleeping or what not, I'm assuming you don't sleep. Then again you don't seem bored, but I suppose for you one charge is the same as another." She took another drink, "So if I said I wanted a perfect body could you do that?"

He smirked, Humans he thought all they ever wanted was to look like a diamond, he stepped forward and said "Yeah i could do that actually i have done that quite a lot, it will take a minute or two but i can make you look like anything you want to look like"

"It all seems so trivial, but it would be nice to loose a few pounds. Not that you would understand you've looked like that for thousands upon thousands of years. It's a wonder you have no feelings, I think if I lived that long I would probably be just as dead inside as you are."

She flopped down on the couch, "So what do people usually ask for?"

"Well everyone so far has asked to live forever, but we can't do that against Mother Nature that is, some asked to lose weight like you, some just asked a load of questions like you oh and some decided to insult me oh wait a minute thats like you again"

"Well it's not like you are so incredibly lovable yourself, as for guys I always end up being dumped as I try to make things work long after things should have ended. The funny part is after breaking up they usually want me back, but I never make the same mistake twice, so currently I'm boyfriend free."

She took a drink and stretched out, "Don't you get bored of watching one person all the time? or do you have the reality tv freak type?"

He Shrugged and said "we can't get bored, we don't have a brain we just have knowledge, well actally there was one Guardian Angel, he fell into something called love with a human, never saw him again, i know you won't understand the fact that i don't have a brain well this appearance of mine its just a coating a a a camouflage if you will"

"That's almost sad that you can't feel the joys and pains fo life. The thrill of physical contact, the pleasure of having a warm hand slide along your skin." She paused, he would never get it, and that was why it wouldn't matter if he watched her wherever she went. He'd never get aroused, though knowing him he'd probably make lewd comments on her body.

"Only one angel in 50,000 years has fallen in love? That's pretty damn rare." She commented as her soft hand slide along her waistline, sliding her t-shirt up a little.

He shrugged again "Yeah well what do you expect, its not meant to happen is it, its breaking every single one of god's laws whatever happened to that angel was something god couldn't control, so he couldn't do anything about"

He walked over and sat oppoxite her, sitting on the air, he twidled his thumbs and said "Its all in that book anyway about 19 pages on that theres 4 pages, 4 pages i tell you on what to say to punish me....but i don't think you will want to read them...."
