Isn't it beautiful?

Fucking expensive, too. I just bought a HD 6950, the dual bios version that flashes to 6970. Less than a quarter of what the GTX 680 costs.

A single Kepler GTX 680 has twice the performance of an HD 6950.

I've done a LOT of research in the last couple of weeks on gpu.

The GTX 690 is slightly faster than the 7970. It's also more expensive.

A GTX 690 will cost you $1,000.

A GTX 680 will cost you $500. Two GTX 680's in SLI would be much faster than a GTX 690 because of much higher clock speeds.

Unless you're trying to save up slots, two-way SLI GTX 680 will be noticeably faster.

Radeon HD 6670 lol. But it works great in my ITX mini PC the size of a shoe box. It plays World of Tanks really well.

It's the same clock speed. Identical GPUs. But two 680 has twice the memory bandwidth.

Anyway, unless somebody makes one that doesn't make my computer sound like a vacuum cleaner, I'm not interested.

And two GTX 690's in SLI would probably warp the space time continuum. It comes down to what you're prepared to spend. A 6950 will play Crysis or The Witcher 2 on highest settings with all the AA and bells and whistles. For less than a hundred quid. That's good enough for me.

Actually two 960's bugs the fuck out. That's essentially quad SLI, (the is 960 essentially is two 860's in SLI on the same die), and the drivers for that are shaky at best.

NVIDIA have got a really bad rep for gpu drivers. Which is weird, they've been at it long enough.

Zoomie's animated gifs kept locking up my computer, so I turned off images. But then any video would crash my computer - and I'm a big internets porn watcher.

It said, Radeon R200 Series device has stopped working.

After days and days of googlizing the message, I found some ATI Catalyst Driver Control Panel thing... downloaded it, and I'm back to porning.

I'm like some kind of computer genius.

There's a nice little thing called ATITool as well which is a simple overclocker. Or MSI Afterburner.

The MSI Lightning cards are designed specifically for overclocking.

The GTX 680 is slightly faster than the HD 7970 and uses much less power.
