Hey everyone! I was just wondering if any of you cool peeps were into biking.. you know, GT mountain bike racing... or even dirt riding, or anything of the sort.... I am! I have a 2001 GT Palomar, Scuba Yellow with the fork shocks and all that jazz. Anyone else out there into this?

A wild downhill is almost as good as wild sex!

For those that haven't tried real mountain biking, they don't know what they're missing.

You rule, Rowdy! I can't wait until it gets just a little warmer out... :) You go often?

I don't get out as often as I would like, but now that the weather's heading toward spring, I am making a resolution to go as much as possible, no excuses.

Last year was my first race -- it kicked my ass, but I loved the challenge. What can I say, I'm a glutton for punishment.

I'm into bicycling but only road riding. Sorry :(

Didn't GT go out of business this year?

Hm...PB, I'm not sure. I know they are still selling... but Haro is becoming rather big. I hear lots of complaints about Haros though... I can't see GT going out of business. They were still booming the last I heard...

I have and old school no suspension GT Tempest Aliminum frame that I still love to ride. Might jump on to a soft tail but no full suspension for me. I love riding anything thast out there, and dont see the need for all this suspension if you are riding for fun. I love the numb feeling my hands get after a really hard days riding. I ride here in Boulder, Co so its not like I am riding light

I actually have a very old GT Outpost (a pre-suspension bike). But I've modified it for the road by putting semi-smooth tires on it that I over-inflate. :)

I did a charity ride (100 miles on Sat. and 50 miles on Sun) on it once and it just about killed me. Not the best bike for doing long road rides.

I'm currently looking to buy a new road bike. One of the bikes I'm looking at is a GT. So hopefully they aren't out of business... I just heard that rumor so I wasn't sure.

Happy Riding.

Nope, not me.

Now motocycles yes.

That wasnt about this thread though so I bow out.

The last Bike i had was a dino detour(freestyle).
I used to go to a half pipe in a friend's back yard and hang.

I tried mountain bikes, but they never would take the stress i put them through.LOL

I used to skateboard a little too.

The last motorcyle i had was a 250 YZ that had awsome air time!
I miss my motorcycle......
