Group sex

I had a chat with a man online about 2 years ago when he told me this story. I doubt it was real, but I have never been able to get it out of my mind.

He said he had a group of friends (3 of them) who would look for a girl and carefully plan to take her somewhere and basically rape her, but there was never any violence involved. Infact, he said they would blindfold the girl so she never saw them and talk to her first to calm her down and find out more about what really turned her on. They had a rule that each had to make her cum before they could do what they wanted with her, but no one was allowed to hurt her. They figured if they ever got caught, the girl would have to say she enjoyed it. If they couldn't make her cum then they would have let her go. But each of the three times they had done this; the girl seemed to love it! They do this once a year he said. Once they kept a girl for 2 days in a cabin up in the mountains. They took care of her but all took turns with her alone and sometimes she had all three on her. When they finished with this girl, she wanted to come back!!

I've bumped this idea because it interested me. Is a sexual encounter like described above still rape? If there is no violence, no threats and no trauma is it still rape? My personal feeling is that it is. The girl had no choice in the matter. She was forced to go with these men. Sure she'd be released if she didn't orgasm, but that would be after the fact. She’d have to service them first.

Would a story like the one outlined above interest anyone or does it read like a pathetic way to sidestep the seriousness of rape? Call a rose a bloody rose, as far as I’m concerned. Write a rape tale if you wish, but don’t try to make it look like anything other than what it is.

I'm all for trying to approach a situation from various angles, but this one smells like a whitewash to me.

What do you guys think?

It's rape!

I was hoping for an answer with a little more meat, Bearlee ... I realize it it rape. What I wanted to know was:

1- WHY do you think it is rape?

2- What would make a victim ever want to return to these three men?

3- Could you ever conceive of a situation where the woman actually enjoyed what was happening to her, once she realized she wouldn't be hurt?

4- Does the story idea interest you at all?

I like writing stories that challenge the reader's belief system, but no sense spending 2 or 3 weeks on a tale that readers will back-click on after the first four paragraphs.

I think that, at the very least, it would make a unique and interesting story. One could either delve into the psycological/moral issues or not (heavy as they are), but it is certainly a unique take on the non-consent genre. The more I see the same thing over and over, the more I appreciate originality. I, personally, am not going to tackle this story (enough on my plate) but It would certainly make an interesting read if handled in the proper way.

I have the same answer, for exactly the same reason. It really sucks when you have more ideas than time!

I think you have a way with words there.

I think any implication of reality here is pretty distasteful. I like tales with helpless pleasure, but it needs an explanation that does not sound like a rapists' rationalisation. I don't want to enjoy a nonconsent story that rings of reality. Tomorrow it might turn out to be a true story, told through a sicko's warped world view.

ps: Isn't this sort of nonconsent called 'ravishment'?

I never thought of it that way, but I do like the word! It seems to fit, in a 'Perils of Pauline' kind of way.

It is rape for the simple reason that express consent wasn't given before the act was performed. Unless consent is given it is assumed that when asked if the sexual action was consentual the answer would be no. Whether or not she enjoyed it it was rape.

How could it be considered anything but rape? It sounds like the old adage of the ends justifing the means. Non-consenual sex is rape. Period. No one likes to be held against their will and made to do things. Hell! Just ask any child who has been grounded! As a former peace officer, I have seen the victims of rape.
I have nothing against anyone who writes about such things, as eroticism is definitely in the eye of the beholder and should not be censored. However, doing such things for real is another story.

Sex without consent is rape. Call a spade a spade for God's sake! By the men saying that the women enjoyed it and one even wanting to come (or would that be cum?) back... bullshit! It sounds like the old adage of the ends justifying the means. Doesn't hold water.
As a former peace officer, I have seen the victims of rape and abuse. While literature can take away the brutality and ugliness of it, if you have ever had to see it, you would shy away from the subject.
I do not advocate censorship in any form. If you want a forced sex story, go for it! Write it well! But if you want to try it out for real, or believe in others who do, just put yourself in the victim's shoes. No one likes to be held against their will and forced to do things. Just ask any kid when they are grounded!

Okay. The 2 posts say the same damn thing. My comp blipped and the first disappeared. So I wrote the second one... just ...never mind! LOL!
