Group Efforts

I'm surprised I don't see group efforts where all of the authors on the forums band together to create a story by everyone adding two or three threads. Surely we could make a masterful work.

Actually, on an old chyoo of mine-- which I deleted-- I discussed story elements with one of the other writers by email.

I'm certain that if you were to post about direction for your chyoo(s), there would be discourse. That isn't a bad idea for anybody, really. I think I'd enjoy some collaboration again.

No ideas really... I was just tossing a bone to see how many others showed interest.

One minor thought I had was a sort of CHYOO SWAT team (or twat team, if you will).

We'd snatch one of the stories on the abandonded list, and simply attack it over the course of a week, adding maybe 5 threads a piece during that time. Soon the story would be fairly well fleshed out.

Then of course there is always the posibility of collaborating on brand new work. I'm open for anything really.

I don't know if many stories in Chyoo really can be "fleshed out." If there's a collaborative tale-- such as one to appear in Literotica-- then that makes sense, because the events of the story are static. They don't change. Chyoo events, on the other hand, are typically dynamic. One of the defining characteristics of Chyoo is the member's ability to take a particular story in a different direction, should he decide that he doesn't like the direction already being taken. I guess he then "fleshes out" his own path.

But maybe what you mean is simply finding some story and filling it up with a variety of threads and options. Yah?

Yeah, there ya go. Perhaps with the intent of hitting a particular thread length. Or maybe a few final goals are in mind from the beginning (which may are diverged from, who knows). But with a few goals in mind, some really creative use of the linking feature could be used.

I like the idea. Just tell me what story and I will add to it. Maybe it will help get me out of my slump. I am having a hard time getting engaged on any of my many ongoing stories. I need something to get things going again.
