Hello all!
I'm a new author here at Literotica. Just uploaded my first story. You can find it through my profile but just in case it's called Rockabilly Online.
It's kind of a generic story, told from the perspective of the man who meets a Rockabilly girl on craigslist, and then a blow by blow of their illicit encounter. It's pretty simple but I think its a good piece to start out with, posting publicly that is.
Please check it out, any and all feedback is appreciated. It may be a bit rough around the edges editing wise, but this is a 'personal' pursuit so I can't really turn it over to the people who normally edit my writing.

Read and enjoy,

-G.R. Stamp

Welcome. :rose:

Posting a link in a post here might get you a few reads from fellow authors :)eek:), and you can head off the Grammar Police next time (well, maybe) by finding an editor more than happy to anonymously edit your naughty writings over on the Editor's Forum.

You also might get more reads by asking for feedback and posting a link on the Story Feedback forum. The place can be a bit slow, but it's worth a try.

Good luck.

Hi, GR, and welcome to Lit. and the Authors' Hangout in particular. :) It is a nice place to hang out in, and you can pick up some writing tips and rules, etc. from the others here. There are also editors who will edit your work, and will not blow the whistle on you for writing smut.

As Driphoney said, you should provide a link to your work as most of us do.

Ahem, so, after a brief hiatus from internet access (I'm traveling), I managed to get back to your kind responses. Thanks to everyone who has checked out my story thus far. As I was advised to do, the link to it is here:

I've received a pretty positive response thus far so I'm looking to get another piece up pretty soon.

I RCVed your story. It was good, but I thought you should have mentioned her name more often instead of always using pronouns. There were a few mechanical errors, but not enough to spoil the story.

I don't know what you meant by "Rockabilly." To me, it is an expression referring to music from the early 50's, a combination of Rock and Hillbilly.

Thanks for the thoughts, Boxlicker.
On another read she does come off a bit anonymous what with all the 'she's' being bandied about.

The rockabilly thing...hmm. There's kind of a subculture that is actually born more out of psycho-billy, which is rockabilly with a strong punk/thrash metal influence. As far as it's relevance to the story, Tara sports the rock/psychobilly style of women in the scene which involves a kind of tricked out, modern and much more sexualized interpretation of 1950's 'poodle skirt' style, with a heavy dose of a cabaret/burlesque/pin-up influence? I'm doing a terrible job of describing it, but it's most often seen these days associated with certain fringes of mainstream hipster culture. Geoff is stylizes himself as a hipster to increase his chances with Tara.

I thogh of her as being Gothic, with the dyed black hair, the dark makeup and the black clothing, including leotards. :)
