Greenpeace

It takes big balls to stop a ship with a rubber dingy.

If you agree with Greenpeace or not you have to admire the dedication to the cause.

I dont have to agree with absolutely everything to support the cause.

Sometimes zealousy can make others go a bit too far.

PETA comes to mind,

I support them
I belong to them
but I dont support absolutely everything they do.

I believe in the fundamental and foundational mission of both.

Get off that damn soapbox and start rowing. We should have NEVER let chicks on this raft.

All this talk about PETA and Greenpeace... *sniff sniff* I smell hippies.

It also takes a whole lot of courage wearing a vest with explosives and blowing yourself up,or drive a car laden with explosives and setting that off.

I don't see anything to admire about fanaticism.

The Inuit people are starving and their youth are migrating to the city due to the fact that no one buys seal fur anymore, even though the Inuit don't "overhunt" seals.

Greenpeace thus think that seals are above the Inuit people and their culture.

No support from me.

Do you support them or not? No.
Would you admit it if you did? Yes.
Why do you support them? I don't
Why do you not support them? To radical. They believe they are right, to the point of inflexibility in their beliefs.
Do you think they go overboard in some of their beliefs? yes.
Do you think they don't go far enough?

Besides, I just popped in to look at Bratcat's ass.

Ignorance is bliss

Greenpeace as ignorant as your average Al Qaeda/Islamic Jihad/PFLP/Hizbollah terrorist ?

Might be,if so I must say that Greenpeace have the better propaganda machine.

if you're comparing Greenpeace to Hamas, then you should compare your current face to the one you'll have after a 45 has blasted it

cunt

It's highly unlikely that I'll get shot by a .45 in the face unless I decide to do a rour somewhere.Even then the chance is slim.

They're both fanatically dedicated to their respective causes and see their own and others health suborned to the cause.

I see many touching points between the two yes.

Open your eyes Hanns, just because it's white and Christian doesn't mean the sun shines out of their asses.

Yes I support them.

Of course I will admit it.

Why do I support them? Because they are trying to make our world a better place or at least preserve it as best as we can.

"Greenpeace exists because this fragile earth deserves a voice. It needs solutions. It needs change. It needs action."

"And we believe that the struggle to preserve the future of our planet is not about us. It's about you. Greenpeace speaks for 2.8 million supporters worldwide, and encourages many millions more than that to take action every day.

We take the name of our flagship, the Rainbow Warrior, from a North American Cree Indian legend. It described a time when humanity's greed has made the Earth sick. At that time, a tribe of people known as the Warriors of the Rainbow would rise up to defend her.

As one of the longest banners we've ever made summed things up, "When the last tree is cut, the last river poisoned, and the last fish dead, we will discover that we can't eat money."

Do I think they go overboard? You will find zealous people wherever you go. I may not always agree with some of the things that some people do. But I support what they are trying to do.

im a member of greenpeace ... they do a lot of good that im sure a lot of people here would support even if they were anti greenpeace

but they are quite a big organization with people of different levels of commitment and sometimes some people in greenpeace do go to far under the flag of greenpeace

I give to only three organizations every year..Greenpeace, Sierra Club and the NRA..

Suddenly I want a big sealburger and have a desire to clean my teeth with some redwood toothpicks. :D

Thats too cute ..."i'm a member"

Donating £5 every 6 month and getting a pack with a badge isn't quite being a "member"

i agree
