The defence agreement between Greenland, Denmark and The US, updated and signed in 2004.
Greenland is heavily protected, by Denmark, the US and as a member of NATO.
Sure, we can and are going to do more - and so should the US. Who downscaled their military personnel from 10.000 to less than 200.. who are observing the space, hence the name: Pituffik SPACE STATION. Denmark are still patrolling the land and ice.
But, bottom line: Greenland (or us down in Denmark) should not have to deal with all this unnecessary stress from The American President's administration.
If it is because the American president wants to create a legacy, being the emperor that made America huge.. then you might have chosen an incompetent and megalomaniac person for president.

Vance's "three day trip" was condensed to an airport arrival handshake and two minute speech, an hour long mini-motorcade across the frozen tundra of Greenland, a quick meet-and-greet with male American warfighters stationed at the air base in Greenland, then erryone hopped on Air Force Two for a ride home. All other events cancelled for lack of interest.
Total time on Greenland soil: Three hours. Two photo ops. Your tax dollars at work.
