Anybody else notice the recent appearance of the scarce Green E, for Editor's Choice? Congratulations to LargoKitt, whose "How NOT to Kiss" was posted on October 23. It's an essay, not a story, listed in How To.

Congratulations! Those Es are rare, and seems to me that they've become even more rare in recent years.

And if Laurel calls you a troll, you're not going to get any more. That somehow changes the quality of your writing. ;)

I wish there was some sort of list of these Green E pieces. I'm curious. But, I realize that would be like a hell-scape of people being particularly cruel for no reason.

You can do story searches and indicate you only want, for example, 'Editor's Choice', or 'Contest Winner' stories. Keep the 'Search Field' open, and you'll have your list.

OH WOW. I've never ever noticed the little gear thing. This is handy. Thank you! I got me a list.

Edit: Thanks to you I found this. This is insanely good omg. https://www.literotica.com/s/a-short-disclaimer

A lot of green E's come without the red H. Apparently, the Editor has a particular taste.

Only 3 of the 11 for my sr71plt account have attained/retained a red H as well. I think it's a case of "Oh, yeah, you think so?"

Now that sounds like a worthy accomplishment. I sometimes whimsically imagine published authors throw some stuff up on sites like this just to sit back and watch there work get thrashed.

Then I start daydreaming that I was one of those published authors. 😂

You have two stories published on Lit. You are a published author, though maybe not a paid one.

I have a poem from 2015 with the green E but I don't think it ever had the H.
