I am somewhat given to both historical bends and rather dark Gothic ones...hmmm so do tell has anyone round these parts rped for example... The Steppe Nomads or.. the Hessian dudes? OR a Perfumed Gardens of Oddettes more the rage? hmm?

The Imperial Bamboo Court
Ok this is what I intend to write. Now I am not quite sure if I will do this as role-play or in a formal written piece. As yet still undecided. I can see that one faces the normal problems one faces when joining a new writing group and mores the pity. However and none the less I propose the Imperial Court of Hue and its sexual intrigues. It quite wondrous some of the recorded goings on in this most convoluted Imperial family. The court did not cease until 1945, a handful of concubines still exist and I have spoken with one in Hue. Fascinating.
Concubine’s Eunuchs made princes etc will be required. Oh lets see if anyone rolls out the bamboo and bows

Well to get started I would of recamended visiting the sticky up top called ORP anouncements, you can talk about idea's and meet people there rather easilly.
This is a fiarly large site and well organised by some miricle. So some decisions should be made about this story of yours. First off if it's a stroy written only by you it belongs in with the rest of the stories, I personally have never writen one for this site and can't be of much use there. Next item is the involvement of sex, if it is going to play a major role and show up often this belongs on the SRP forum eassily accessed by the item box at the bottom of this thread or the ORP forum. It should be right next to the ORP forum in the list.
If this is role playing and sex isn't a major concept then the rest is simply your style.

Thanks good person. I have a group of writers that are going to join me for this venture me thinks.
And I shall indeed follow the advice left. I have been writing in a few online communitys and some of the work here is excellent some is the usual one liners but it does look good so far.
Funny how you join a new group and end up writing with the same crew. Its the curse of most online sites unlike real life writing groups.
Yep sex will indeed be a very big part as most of the tale will be centered around both the royaol conqubines bamboo palace and the Queen Dowanger.
