GREATEST CANCELLED SITCOM.......Name it/them>>>>

I miss SOAP ... that show cracked me up! So many ppl got their start on that show ... and

I miss the reruns of Burns and Allen (My all time favorite she was hysterical)

Dirty Sally was another childhood favorite.

I also miss, as for the rest of them, I catch them all on Nic at Night and TV Land...

They are... Petticoat Junction, Green Acres, All in the Family, Sanford and Son, Courtship of Eddie's Father, Honeymooners, and so many more.

As for Gilligan's Island... I never understood how, they could invent washing machines, cars, and so many other things, yet they couldn't fix a hole in the boat... and why did Ginger, Maryanne, Thurston and Lovey all take their entire wardrobe on a 3 hour tour? And, how in the world did the Skipper, Professor and Gilligan where the same clothes everyday, yet, they never wore out?

Renee...

I guess you could say that I live in Green Acres, I came here to W.V. from Baltimore, I miss the city so much. I like the fast pace and the ppl. Here it's just like a soap opera, nothing but hillbillies everywhere I look.

All those great night time cartoons when we were kids. Where did Bugs, and Daffy, and even strawberry shortcake go? Now we have Pokemon.....ewwwwwwwwwwwwww

Stormy, I am sorry to hear that, I could never live in the country... I'd go nuts! I have to be where the action is... how long have you lived there?

Six pages long

and nobodies mentioned Dark Shadows. Well it is realy a scifi soap, but it was so bad, that it should be admitted by default. Bad acting, bad direction, bad special effects, on one eppisode the credits screw up. It was so bad it had to be intential.

Renee- Hello. Nice to meet ya. What a hoot. I have always said the same thing about the Gilligan characters and people looked at me like I was the crazy one! :) lol

Most of you have cited the shows I liked too but I havent seen anyone mention the original 'ER'. It was a comedy starring Elliot Gould, Mary McDonnell and a very young George Clooney. It was short lived but very clever and well written and very funny. Anybody remember that?

I miss the Ben Stiller Show. It wasn't even on for a full season, but it had some excellent parodies. But FOX stuck it in a hopeless time slot, and it didn't stand a chance. Even so, it ended up winning an Emmy.

I also miss SCTV. John Candy was a terrific comic actor. Who could forget Dr. Tongue's 3-D House of Slave Chicks?

Nice to meet you too Brainy... I'm glad I'm not the only one who ever wondered that shit. I have a lot of questions regarding that show.

btw, sorry for the typo guys... I meant wear the same clothes.. not where the same clothes... forgive me.. please.

Sorry I was just reminded...

One show from the good old USA, that I used to change shifts to get home and see, was NORTHERN EXPOSURE.

Wow an American comedy show that was actually funny.

Actually, an OLD fangster... much older depending on which incarnation he was in.
