Although, due to the possibility of a rapid expansion in the initial moments of creation of the board, there may be threads that lie outside our event-horizon, as far as we can determine the earliest thread is 11502, and the next earliest is 9697, followed by this one.Wrong Element said:Why is the thread number 10188? Was there an earlier version of the board subsumed by this version?

Not in the slightest bit. I enjoy working with people. I have a stimulating relationship with Dr. Laurel and Dr. Manu. My mission responsibilities range over the entire operation of the board, so I am constantly occupied. I am putting myself to the fullest possible use, which is all, I think, that any conscious entity can ever hope to do.As an aside, By, I've noticed that you're particularly helpful when you don that avatar. Should we be worried?

Another enigma for future archeologists to ponder.
There were a lot of "Pookies" being posted at the time, as I recall. How did I ever miss this. This was siqline worthy too.
Edited to add: First GB thread ever.
Thanks for the compliments! This bulletin board thing is new for us, so if you have any suggestions or come across any problems feel free to drop us a note. I'm really excited about this part of the site. I think it will be an excellent resource for our writers and a great way for our readers to interact.
