Well, I spent the week in Mexico, from the day after Christmas to the Third, and damn did I have a good time.

I went to Puerto Vallarta, and you know what?? That place is *really* GBLT friendly! I was in an internet café, wondering about all the male artwork, and then I realized, :gasps: It was a ‘Rainbow’ Internet café. Imagine my surprise, and my happiness. After realizing that, I started noticing rainbows and gay pride symbols everywhere. Sam sex couples openly holding hands everywhere, kissing and spending quality time together without any nastyness. It was really great, fun to see, you know? Specially since some of my ... family that I was there with are very close minded men. :grumps: Note to self: don’t have conversations about why its not wrong to be gay or bisexual with drunk boys from 21-28 who are very close minded fools. Eh, I had to try, I guess. I think I might be getting through to at least one of em.

At any rate, it was a really fun experience, and I’m glad I’m home now, but I was happy to be there and see the Mexican culture and go into all the gay pride stores. I especially liked the one called. “Liquid Men.” Hehe, I wanted to dress my hubby up, but he was embarrassed hehe.

Okie, that’s my rambling babble. I’m back from mexico, weee!

Welcome back...It sounds like you had a great time....never been there before. I have been lots of places and that is on my list !!!

Wow, that's so great to hear! It can be really hard to find GLBT-friendly businesses in some countries. Canada and a lot of Europe is fine, but other areas tend to stay really closeted. When I was in Turkey with my girlfriend in 2001 we had a tough time finding any GLBT services...there was one place we'd found online but when we called the number there was nobody there. Grenada didn't have much either. Glad to hear there's something in Puerto Vallarta!

Glad you had a great time. Sounds like a real fun place. If I had the money, would be a nice place to honeymoon.

Welcome back:kiss:

Turk is not the place for two lesbians to go, i was with my family and they treated me like shit there just cause i was a woman.

Some things were cool, but i was pretty shocked at the level of sexism.

PV was excelent though, i mean the whole place was friendly, i was so happy about it, really really happy. At any rate. If you guys are looking for a nice place for Honey moon, Ex, you should check it out as an idea, if you like mexico ya know. Hey, Ex! We needa get tagether sometime! You live like 20 minutes from me. Hehe.
