I wish there was some way we could praise particular anons. I received the following to my hot story "Barbarian Bait"

Almost...

The story was good, but what could have been better would be better description. It been an erotica, the sex scenes were really short, also, "handsome" is not enough to describe how a man looks and got tired of her repeatedly saying "like Dar." It would have been good to describe his eyes, their shape, the shape of his jaw, his cheekbones, his hair, the texture, skin. More physical detail heightens the sexiness and the sex itself.

However, you got a gift for creating fictional universes. This you did phenomenally! Keep up the good work!

I could not have ordered better criticism. I really wish I could thank this person. By the way, I greatly expanded the story and published it as a novel at Amazon under the title "Barbarian Bride" Taking Luz through more than an entire first year as a bride. Those interested in the specifics can e mail me. What we really need is an "ANON HALL OF FAME"

You just did almost to the extent you could. I say "almost," because probably the best what to do it when not knowing how to contact them is to do it in a comment on your story. If Anonymous is going to check anywhere, it will be there.

You could advertise your Amazon book on the sticky thread about Lit. authors publishing at the top of the AH.

I have an anon who literally writes ESSAYS as his comments. I'm a bigger fan of him than he is of me. I always comment back to my readers' comments, but I feel silly sometimes for taking up space (don't ask). He mailed me using the feedback form, lately. Is it creepy if I ask for his email? Lol

Honestly the reason why I love my commentors so much is because they give feedback- feedback that I ask for over here, but never get, because my story is too long, or of a category they would not read.. or the thread gets buried. Everyone deserves their writing to be assessed and praised (or booed) but sometimes it doesn't happen.

A nice one I got recently:

I want to commend you on your ability to completely change tone/voice when switching between [two different narrators]. I'm sure it's easier said than done, and you made it look extremely easy.

I put a LOT of work into that aspect of the writing, so it was good to have somebody single out that part of it.
