sad stuff, but also interesting. fortunate, for those injured, how close to hand all the medical help was. when there were bombs like this in the uk, set in shopping centres or pubs, medical help was slower getting to the scene when time is of the essence.

Much of the help was there simply because of the nature of the event, but yeah, a lot of spectators did step up.

we have ambulances & st johns at any big event, too.

it's touching to see people using their own clothes to bandage the injured, despite not knowing whether more bombs might go off.
the contrast between those pictures and the picture of the bomber leaving the device just a few feet away from where young children were standing.
humanity at its finest and humanity at its worst.
