i was thinking of writing a story about a goth girl and a preppy guy, me. i just graduated college and i have some many fantasies about girls i wished that i took a chance with. i was thinking of setting this in my college. possibly about using myself in a series of stories set in college. anyone interested in a story series like this? give me suggestions? i will try to base some on real experiences. i was never witha goth but always wanted to be with one. any real goths out there give me advice? thanks.

I actually think it is a quite helpful idea. "YOu" could easily be the nerdy virginal guy. You need to decide if the goth girl seduces him ( if so, why? ) or whether he finally gets up his nerve. That will help you pick a setting, and drive the action.

I suggest that you go to the Story Index on literotica.com and search for goth stories. Read a few for inspiration and common themes, but then be creative. Avoid just ripping off

You might also want to read stories uncovered by searching nerd., or other first time stories, such as my After Hours Adventure , in which a nerdy guy meets a hot librarian, then adapt to the goth themes.

the thing is, i am not a nerdy guy. i am neither a super preppy guy either. i dress in american eagle and abercrombie stuff mostly.. and sports tee and jerseys. i have always just been really attracted to goth girls. i just never had the nerve to ask one out or really talk to them. they intimidated me. i just hope someone with a goth mindset can help me make the story more realistic.

There is a diffrence between show goths and True goths

Show goths are basicly Anti/opposit Everything normal. Screw you guys, im wearing black dying my hair purple and peircing myself because its diffrent! so ha!.

True goths have dark demented minds and are very creative, They dont dye their hair diffrent colors to be diffrent, they do it to outwardly present themselves, they dont peirce to show Ha i did it, most do it because they enjoy the pain from metal peircing flesh. most suffer from depression.

i prefure true goths because they are really Deep.

Now, Preppy. Preppy people (girls or Guys) dont usualy float, not only online, but in the natural story world, Preppy people are usualy full of themselves thinking they are a type of god given gift to the earth. and that they can swoon any one. or that every one wants to be swooned by them. Any way you could possibly build it, the story wouldnt logicly work because Goths tend to Hate Preppy people because they are so full of themselves.

again this also is trying to go on the concept of inferority and purification. (she is dirty/wrong/stupid and my (insert something you have/do) will make her clean/right/smart)

There have been a lot of discussions about POV on here, and on the Author's Hangout and the Editor's Forum. I still maintain that first person looks childish or naïve. If that is what you want -OK. However, consider the vast published body of well written fiction; what proportion is written in the first person (or its concommittant present tense)?

I like to express myself by looking they way I do, and I enjoy the pain from piercings/tattoos. The depressed, creative side is there as well, believe me.
I guess the reason why I would probably not fall for a preppy guy/girl is because they tend to be rather shallow. I'm more attracted to personalities, I'd rather have someone stimulate my brain than try to impress me with how fashionable they are, because I wouldn't really care about the latter.

i dig the look. i am a pretty creative guy, i paint and draw. perhaps we share an art class in college and since we live in the same dorm, we start to hang out alot with each other. what do u think?

The only way i could possibly see a viable preppy/gothgirl mix made in a story and become truthful would be either non-consentual, im mister macho tuff quarterback and i want you girly like it or not. or out of pure despair, she is lost (in her mind) depressed and lonely, she does something crazy (walks out into the street infront of his car) and in that momment of despire and pity, they have sex.

Im more than sure you could make one out of, 'im a hot preppy guy full of myself, i just got done banging her room mate and walk out naked, she gets an eye full and likes what she sees. i lay the moves down and now its time for round two...'

or even one out of pure identity confusion. 'gothic girl finds herself in a flutter when she meets a preppy guy, though she dispices the idea of preppy, hes diffrent, and deep. there is more too him, being partnered on our school assignment she is forced to work with him, can she stand his sexuality charm and odd deepness?'

the thing about making a story is Making up a situation that Could possibly exisist then building up the detail to make that questionable fantasy, workable reaility.

okay this grred me so much so that ive acctualy thought of a probably logical start for the story (im one for making stories in my mind)

(goth girl) dispised this place, it was so clean an smelled of lavander. like there was a freaking pretty boy shower around the corner and these preppy freaks had to wash their hair with expensive forign sented crap. she swallowed sickingly at the smell she knocked lightly on the door, knowing her stomach would twist at this preppy guys 'clean perfect pretty' room. but she also knew if she wanted to pass this stupid class she had to endure it.

as the girls walked by they gave her the disgusted eye that they always do, like she didnt belong there. she became angry and pounded on the door, she just wanted to get this stupid joint paper thing done and get the hell out of here. the door cracks open as (preppy guy) answers the door.

"Jesus, you trying to knock the door down?" (preppy guy) says.

"Just let me in damnit, i dont like being here." (preppy girl) says, pushing him out of the way to get inside the room

His room was was defienatly... diffrent than out side. it was clean persay but it wasnt what she expected. the room was completely empty it had nothing posted on the walls, no boy band posters, pictures of the boys, trophies or medels he would of won through his many preppy exploits. most preppy guys put those things up like some great beast they bagged and wanted to show to every one, but not him. soemthing was definatly diffrent.

and build from there first discribing the project, her, him. How you could fit in sex into this is a bit further away and you gotta personalize it. it aint my story or else id still be writing it

thats a really good start. go ahead and write. i have tried a few drafts unsuccessfuly to write one, so i am giving up and moving on to other ideas. this idea is somethign i would read paul, please keep goign

Don't give up - just don't force the story out. After all - what you would write is your story and not anyone else's. You should be careful on the terminology - that was the original issue brought up by Pyro - but other than that, go for it. Personally, if you're feeling mixed on the storyline but would like to put one out there, then rest on it and let it incubate for a while. See if time and imagination let the idea flesh out.

Incidentally, all this goth talk is kinda edging me to revisit a stroy I wrote some six years ago. It's good to get the juices flowin'.

Really I think your best story would be based directly on your fantasies. There are plenty of directions you can take this, depending on the story you want to tell. I suppose that may not be too helpful, but "people with differences looking past them and falling in love/fucking each other silly" is a classic story theme which conceptially works in a lot of cases.

yeah, even the story i wrote, it could be very diffrent on how you think and how you see things.

you might find it as the idea that you are the allmight preppy boy, looking down and giving the gothy girl a taste of heven.

my story builds on an 'diffrent' preppy kid that has a thing for girls that are deeper than the bleach blonde chearleaders. hence the goth girl angle.
