Having seen Sub Joes thread where he mentioned google associating his name with porn i decided to google my Lit name.

Well it appears that I am an endangered plant from Hawaii!

What does your Lit name say about you?

Here's what Google came up with for me (suprise, surprise)

Mostly Google just comes up with places where your work has been stolen.

Yes.

And when they use snips of stories as opening links for creepy sex sites it truly bothers me.

Sex doesn't bother me, of course.

Just the creepy sites about sex with dogs and horses, for instance.

(No offense Shang)

Og had a good suggestion some time ago. If you're looking for stolen stories, try googling on your character's name or some unique phrase in your text. Some places that swipe stories delete the author's name.

Personally, I'm pretty open-text about having my stories stolen. As long as they attribute the story to me, I look at it as free publicity. But then, I've never seen my stuff on a animal-sex site.

I'd be interested in how anyone would get a Lit. story onto a bestiality site ... the part about the 69 might take some interesting revision.

I find that my stories appear in very inappropriate sites. It is easy for me to find them because oggbashan is a unique word. 'Og, King of Bashan' produces the Biblical references but oggbashan doesn't.

Most of my stories are very mild by Lit standards. Why some of them are posted on 'Japanese Teen Fist-Fucking' and similar sites I have no idea. They must disappoint the paying customers.

I include my copyright details at the start of most of my stories. When I edit them, which I am now slowly doing for all my posted stories, I will ensure that I include the copyright details on all and I might put a copyright notice in the middle of the text as well.

I can't stop my stories being stolen. I can try to ensure that the theft is obvious. I have no objection to someone posting a link to my stories on Literotica. I do object to someone copying them and charging people to see them.
