Perhaps Google should have googled Bobb before hiring him.

Just goes to show you that a)Google isn't always run by smart people and b)bias and bigotry are not acceptable no matter who says it. If Google doesn't fire this clown they will show how hypocritical they are, if we (rightly) fire white supremacists and racists and QAnon idiots for their statements then this guy should be shown the door. I am sure we will hear how he was young back then, how he didn't know, etc, but having someone like that as head of diversity would be like having Ted Cruz or Marjorie Taylor Green as head of it. On the other hand Google could point to Marjorie Taylor Green still being in Congress after the horrible things that ooze out of her mouth and say what the hell is she still doing in Congress?

A Chief Diversity Officer is supposed to lead and be accountable to an organization for equity, diversity, & inclusion.

Obviously Google's diversity officer is neither diverse, inclusive or equitable.

Should Google be screening applicants by religion, to make sure each religion is fairly represented? Would that even be legal?
