My wife and I just finished reading House Of Correction by Nicci French. Has anybody else read it? I thought it was a good study in writing an unlikeable MC in a readable and engaging story.

I read it, but I don't remember it. I'll get it out of the library again and skim it to see if I have thoughts about your question. It may be a while, as our Request system at the library has slowed down a great deal in the last year or so.

Ordinarily, I wouldn't read a murder mystery. My wife reads them all the time though. Still, this was a reading club assignment. I may not read any more of them, but at least I can say I've read one.
