Goodkind is our God

Interesting

I've read the first two books of the SoT series, and thought they were good, I plan on getting the rest of the books in the series.

It seems that there are some out there that are a bit fanatical about the books though. To each their own.

Well, Terry ushered me into the world of objectivism and then he kicked me right out of it when I realized how horrible his writing actually was. I enjoyed the first few books in his series and even managed to let go his wild rants on communism, liberalism, or any other ism as just having his own opinions and not letting his views prevent me from enjoying the story. Then I saw that his views were the story and as his main character's speeches became pages and pages longer I saw the author for the hack he is.

Not to mention how arrogant the guy is when I read interviews he did. Saying things like Canada has no free speech, that he isn't a fantasy writer (well maybe that one's true), that if you notice any similarities between his work and others then you are probably not old enough to read him, and his purpose is not "weirdo cultural diversity".
