Friday night will be the final night of his career. They play the Yankees.:) As much as I dispise the Orioles, he is AMAZING!!!!!!! In fact, the Yanks got it clinched, so I hope he does well on Fri.

nasty, I got to meet Cal last month in Kansas City, and of course got his autograph. One of the nicest atheletes ever besides Tony Gwynn.

THAT'S AWESOME!!!!!

Not an Orioles fan, but Cal Ripkin was one of my favorite players on the team. He SEEMS like a nice guy, so I wouldn't be suprised that he is.

Yes, truly Cal Ripken and Tony Gwynn will be missed. I had the pleasure of attending a Brewers game when the Padres were in town. Unfortunatly, Gwynn didn't collect a hit that game, but hey, I think his numbers speak for themselves.

Too bad I'll never have seen Cal play. It would have been an honor.

So I take it that since the season was extended a week as a result of the national tragedy, that he will NOT be playing that week?
