Goodbye Snooper

I just found out through the AH that Snooper is leaving Lit for reasons only known to himself and I wanted to acknowledge the work he's done and the people he helped since he's been here.

Most people know that Snooper and I had our disagreement, yeah sure call it rooster fight and it'll be more like it, but I never said he wasn't good at what he was doing.

Snooper: I'll be the first one, on the EF at least, to wish you all the best. No matter where you go, no matter what you do your work around here will always be recognnize for what it is......DAMN GOOD WORK!!!

I just found out through the AH that Snooper is leaving Lit for reasons only known to himself ...

If you look carefully at what I said on the AH it does not say I am leaving Lit per se, only that I am leaving the AH. Nor does it say that I am the only one that knows why; it merely indicates that I do not choose to share them with a universal audience. Several of my closer friends on Lit know the reason. My actual wording was:

I shall not be coming back to this forum in future. This is not because I am angry, or because someone has annoyed me, not even because I am bored. Suffice to say, I have my own reasons for departing, and leave it at that.

I shall still look in on the Editor's Forum from time to time, and even Story Ideas occasionally. PMs may not be read for weeks on end.

So, to quote S.L.Clemens correctly, The report of my death was an exaggeration.

In time I shall doubtless leave the EF also, but then none of us are immortal are we, except in other people's memories?

Okay I might have read wrong but it doesn't change the fact that I wanted to publicly acknowledge the help you've given to so many people.
