My example of Good Weird was the Addams Family. They’re all big freaks, but it’s cool because they’re not trying to force anybody else to act like them. They just keep to themselves and enjoy their eccentricities.

I can tolerate personal weirdness that involves people expressing themselves, and doesn’t involve attacking or endangering people due to their race, religion, or gender by othering them or intruding on their health and happiness through physical, legislative, or judicial violence.

George Washington had the Continental Army immunized for smallpox. It was a crude procedure but it worked. I was around to get the earliest vaccination for polio. I am glad I did. It is unfortunate there is no vaccine for stupidity.
