You can find a MS Office product, fully functional and running, on the internet for free that is downloadable? I find that hard to believe, but I guess anything is possible and I don't know much about piratebay, etc. My daughter just bought MS Word for $100 from Amazon for her Mac, which I'm guessing PowerPoint would at least probably run $100 as well on Amazon.

Try Open Office, It's free and there is a "power-pointish" program that works well.
It's 'different' but it will read and write PP files.
