THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH ANYTHING SEXUAL

None of you really know me here, so i don't expect alot of sympathy or even understanding..but i thank you for reading what i have to say.

Is love an illusion? Has it's ups and downs been created just to bring enjoyment to forces we don't understand? How is it possible that a person can give everything...heart, soul...everything into a relationship, only to have the other tell them it was all fake...words with empty meanings?

Life has apparently become affixed with the idea that nice guys finish last. You can try all you want...nothing will stop it. I'm a good guy, but don't hate me. Giving all i had into a person, and her telling me she was doing the same....only to find out that it isn't real...

Where's that one person for me that i've heard about all my life? "tim, don't you worry, there's one girl out there that is perfect for you." yeah, right...dont' make me laugh. Good guys apparently do finish last. If you're out there, reading this....and you've found that someone for you. Cherish them. because there are those of us out there that may never find what you have. And if you're that one person for me out there...i'm still waiting...but i digress....

Empty dreams....broken promises....emotionless words.. I hope you never experience them. Love is a dream of mine. Love is what i need...but i'm a good guy, so i'll be in the back.

[my girlfriend told me tonight that she didn't want a commited relationship. After all this time saying she wanted one with me...she suddenly changed her mind. She just started college, so i suspect the worse. I gave her all i could ever give someone whom i love...but it wasn't good enough apparently]

Nice guys finish last BUT......

I know what you mean, and I can totally relate to it.
I have been told the same lame sentence most of my life. "Don't worry X'ie, there's someone out there for you."

yeah right! I thought. But you know what. It was true!!

Just look at me now, the designated outcast, engaged to be married, to the love of his life.

I NEVER thought that would happen. But I just stuck to the saying "all good things come to those who wait" And viola!! It happens.

keep the faith buddy. It's a drag for a while. But well worth the wait.

all i can tell you is hang in there. i too, was one of the good guys. i fell in love, and gave of myself too easily. but when i was 30, the love of my life moved in with me. we were married five years later, and now, five years after that, we are more in love than ever.
nice guys do finish last. and when we finish, it does last!

"...looking for a lover that won't drive me crazy!"
