I have seen about 15 films in as many days.

Can anyone recommend some good films on Netflix

I’m into

comedy
Action
Drama
Romance
Sometimes horror but tend more to slasher rather than poltergeist films

I recently watched August: Osage County. It was really good.

Extraction is the most viewed on Netflix in some category. Mercenary action hostage rescue from criminals starring Thor…the actor not the character.

I watched that last week, it really is worth the watch

The Queens Gambit was good. So was Olive Kitteridge. Also, Carnival Row.

Of course, I could have the wrong platform, in which case feel free to ignore.

The Queen's Gambit is probably as good of a series that will ever get.

I’m torn between wishing for more or thinking it would jump the shark if they tried to keep going. I have no knowledge of a continuation. Do you?

i tend to only watch asian horror, murder porn, and documentaries

i got all three in dont fuck with cats, which is a true story

Queen's Gambit was pretty engaging.

Into the Wild is another good one about Chris McCandless who camped alone in the Alaskan wilderness.

I tried watching Yellowstone this year. I was irritated on the first episode by the ‘this horse is the rankest of all wild Mustangs!‘ and then they show it tied in the trailer with a shipping halter. JesusHChrist! Don’t write shit you know nothing about because you think it sounds cool. I really did try to tell myself “it’s Hollywood, it’s just a movie, suspension of disbelief”. But they just kept hammering at it, like they never even consulted with their animal wranglers for any kind of realism.

That said, if I win the lottery, I’m building that house!

p.s. stop writing shows about “animal whisperers”. It’s stupid. People who work with animals have learned how to read non verbal cues and they know quiet gets better results than a damn rodeo. Stop it. Just stop it!
