So do I get a tin star?
Maybe aluminum. I'll think about it. :p
Come on now, people, think. What nation is weird enough to produce something like this?

Gee thanks, Bob. Now I have this song in my head.

I'm a little tea pot short and stout
Here is my 'handle' here is my 'spout'

*winks* Anything for you Barb

Japan.

Sake and sucky in one sitting. A reverse of the old " a bird in hand is worth two in the bush?"

We make a good team the three of us.

Now where have I heard that lately?

I'll award gold stars to you both, Barb and Laurel.

It's from Komaki, a small town north of Nagoya, is a shrine called Tagata Jinja. The Tagata shrine is dedicated to the god named Mitoshi-no-Kami and godess named Tamahine-no-Mikoto. According to an ancient Japanese belief, mother earth has to be impregnated by father heaven, so that everything can grow and develop. The shrine is scattered with symbols of fertility like this set - an erect phallus to hold the sake, and two vagina cups from which to sip.

I don't think I would ever get tired of drinking from a vagina cup.

Bob - are you talking about you me and Laurel? Or you and the nutty boys? ;)

Thank you Mischka!! I love getting the gold star.

And Boxstar, why do I get the feeling you're gonna run away with those vagina cups? That means I would be left holding the bag, so to speak. And then I would have to drink straight from the phallus.

I know that isn't yours. But Mischka has some of the strangest kitchen accessories. She shows me utensils and I have the faintest clue what they are used for.
Oh, you haven't seen anything yet. Mr. Mischka and I are getting each other some more kitchen utensils as house warming gifts. I'm finally getting a waffle warmer and potato masher, and he's getting his silicon tongs and asparagus steamer. Exciting couple, I know.
