Going down the memory hole!

Because those that should be talking about it know that it would hurt their party more than it hurts the other party...

Same reason they don't want to talk about emails or Benghazi.

Is fox talking about it?
I don't think so, I could be wrong though.

The candidates are and FOX is where they go to get their message out.

Cavuto is talking about it. The FOX Business Channel is talking about it.

;)

Reason.com (Libertarian) is talking about it.

The people who will not talk about it are the Democratic National Socialists and as long as their guy is in office, they see no problems, especially economic. This anemic "recovery," to them, is nothing short of an economic miracle and the re-Birth of a Nation.

Debt ceiling lifted, and the same day, debt jumps $339B

Why the fuck is no one talking about this?
ZH didn't pick it up...
I found it on the dredge.

This is the kind of shit that makes me ponder the workings of this world.

This is a big fucking deal, Our government is out of control!!

Because raising the debt ceiling is a normal thing that happened a whopping 18 times under lord savior ronald reagan, to the tune of well over a trillion dollars. But I mean, what do you expect form a union organizer?

FOX gets its orders from Wall Street and K Street. Yesterday Neil talked to a CEO, and they agreed that the economy is peachy and whiners don t love America or OBwana enough.

Well, of course, that....That...say it children, loud and proud...THAT'S DIFFERENT!

They have an edition for everything!

:)

I guess the Zimbabwe edition would have new inflated banknotes coming in the mail every day...

The shocking thing here is that they spent the money before they raised the limit, that's why the debt jumped up the same day the limit was raised. That's illegal.

"illegal" is irrelevant without practical enforcement to actually define it.

The object apathy which allows such illegality weighs totally upon the shoulders of Americans - who are fully empowered by The unanimous Declaration of the thirteen united States of America and the Constitution for the United States of America to specifically right that wrong.

Choosing not to uphold their duty, but, in fact, ceding it almost unconsciously to those who they are constituted to police, lemming America has exactly the illegal government they so richly deserve.

Sure, as hypocritically exampled above, there will be those who do not deem themselves as lemmings, who protest that they're not part of that problem, that they stand up and point it out for all to see...

...all the while, though, unashamedly - outright religiously, even - continuing to pay greater portions of their individual property as tribute to the very masters they demonize out of the other side of their mouths.

Power always decides who makes the rules of the game, and no individual ever has enough power to rule it her/himself. Thus an individual - in no way possible to be the proverbial island him/herself - must always be subjected to a collective game of some sort.

But, no matter the outside influence(s) any individual is subject to, the individual always possesses the power to determine how they individually play whatever game is ruled over them. That is the superior power every individual possesses, and it is only as strong as they wield it for themselves.

The very first thing any patriotic American must do to stop the collective madness as much as s/he can from corrupting themselves is to stop financing the federal terrorism as much as they possibly can and move their lives to a place where individual liberty is still celebrated, not foreseen for exactly what it's always been: the natural enemy to mob rule/collectivism.

That is the very first concrete action: anything less is nothing but lip motion at best, and anything more - at this precise time in the game - is nothing but playing right into the tyrants' hands at worst.

Alas, the very reason why more don't take that individually powerful step is because they've come to love their lemming comfort/security life more than, as Samuel Adams put it, "the animating contest of freedom"...

...and thus is how lemmings are born and live.

A few months ago I posted the conclusion I came to somewhere around here. We should all just not pay our income taxes, that'd definitely send a message and be a more peaceful way to protest.
I've since dropped that idea because it's unrealistic, people wouldn't do that.

Recently, I've become an accelerationist. elect the most communist asshole, then wait for the rebirth after it all implodes.
