It also depends on the diet of the woman in question. This is not a myth, it's fact, what we eat does alter our flavour down there. The same is also true of men.
Women who eat a lot of fruit have a much more subtle/sweet taste.
Those who don't eat much, if any, fruit, but do eat a lot of red meat and fatty foods, have a much stronger/tangy taste.

Pineapple is a particularly good fruit to eat, it really does affect your flavour!

To give you more of an idea on how much diet can affect your taste I have a little story for you.
I read a book many years ago when I was a teenager by Spider Robinson (the name of the book I can't recall) but in it was a a man who lived out in the middle of nowhere and had a problem with rabbits and deer eating his garden. A friend of his suggested that after eating a meal of mostly meat he go out and urinate around his garden, the claim was that the rabbits and deer would smell the urine of a predator and stay away. Many years later I was having the same problem and was talking to one of my neighbors and told him I was going to give it a try, he laughed and said it couldn't hurt and since he was having the same issue he was gong to do the same thing. A week or so later we were talking and I told him that what I had done and that it seemed to have done the trick. I had not seen any more evidence of rabbits eating my veggies. We talked and he told me that he was a vegatarian, I looked through the books I had and found the one with the suggestion in it and read again that it was due to the smell of a carnivore, not an herbivore.
