President/.

Jimmy Carter was elected President in 1976. It was a very difficult time in America- the country was reeling from Vietnam and Watergate. Confidence was not high. I was just a kid then, but I was always interested in "what was going on."

If you ask me, only Franklin Roosevelt became president under worse circumstances. Whereas FDR was up to the job, maybe Jimmy wasn't. It's easy to put Jimmy down, but I often wonder who could have done better given the time and the milieu of the late 70's. I often wonder how well Reagan would have faired in 1976- but his election would have been impossible due to the Republican scandal called Watergate.

(Aside note: It is interesting to me that the Nixon people are still with us. George H Bush was director of CIA for Nixon and was Reagan's VP. As you know, now the elder Bush's son is president and has a cabinet chocked full of Reaganite drones.)

Jimmy Carter will be remembered as an honest man who was too good of a person to be President. Sad- this only means that in order to be a good President, you need to be a ruthless, two-faced son of a bitch.

Personally, I wish America had more Jimmy Carters.

I think we have one now.

Sorry to disagree with a kind woman as yourself. I personally think our current leader is too stupid to be evil or good. The man is a moron. He has no principles and is a figurehead for people who should be retired.

I despise the president. He never would have been selected if it were not for his dim-witted father who rode the coat-tails of Bonzo-Ronnie.

and I have to add for all those who claim the utter stupidity of a person they do not personally know...

HOW'D HE GET ELECTED?

unless a stupid people deserve...

Sugar, government is about power.

I can participate in government, but I cannot tell DOW CHEMICALS what to do. And, as you are probably aware, DOW would not do shit for you or me unless it had too.

I fear the ruthlessness of corporate interests more than I do the federal government. People are greedy. It's just the way things are. And greedy people will do whatever it takes to satisfy their lust. And they often do it with a nice suit and a smile on their face.

WOW, where did that come from?
Do not live in fear. This is America, you have power. For every evil GM there is a Ralph Nader.

Now that is an interesting comparison don't you think.

Because, in the long run...

Ralphie was wrong about the corvair,

which was a really cool little car. We had one. A red convertable...

"when I think about you I touch myself..."

Sugar, you are stoned. And so early in the morning...

By the way, I have a tip on a wonderful stock... the company produces a product that renders men sterile by way of a pill. Only thing is that ruins their livers, but the company has hired a top-notch PR firm to handle that.

It's a good buy, ground level opportunity. Buy now, and in 10 years you could be worth millions- like the dudes at Cisco Systems.

No big daddy,
the government is worse.
Have you read Dr. Peter (I think?) Duesburg's (sp?) book?

[apologies, the book is in the library, but I am too lazy to get up and get it, hard workout yesterday and my old body doesn't take the abuse as well anymore.]

Sorry, have not read it. Be so kind as to give me accurate information.

When was the last time you had your lithium level checked?

I live a very high intensity life.

My well-being, sometimes my life, depends on being very up and very aggressive. I am the pit-bull of show biz!

Sounds great- are you into porn or car sales? My cousin in NY is working with film. He's a total bastard- has girls doing all kinds of things that the average person would never do.

Lemme know here if u are interested.

No,
I'm the one that
Goes after Axel when he decides to take on 20,000 fans,
Makes sure that everybody keeps a respectful distance from Maestro,
Makes sure that Jim Dandy: arrives, does not drink from the bottle, pour his own drinks, or not use ice, does not lay out his own lines, and smokes lots of dope so he doesn't self-destruct,
Gives private lessons to the star while mommy patiently corrects everything you do because you are not baby's teacher who is in California,

you know,

you're just a provincial...

I was a kid when Jimmy was president and he is surely a hell of a nice kid, but he didn't have what it takes to run the country. I clearly remember severe economical problems and energy problems. I clearly remember that my crazy low class family had barely two nickels to rub together during his administration because the cost of loans was at an all time high.

I'll take Jimmy as a Diplomat, a neighbor, a friend, but my friend he was no leader.

Sure he was a leader. The leader of the free world and a man who leads by quite example. Maybe he was not the best, but I much prefer a Jimmy Stewart type to a Clinton who I would liken (to extend things) rather to any one of numerous stars of blue movies, eh?

I wasn't a big fan of Clinton, personally, but from a running a country perspective he was immensely better than Carter. I don't give a shit how nice someone is, they need to be a very good leader to run the country. I think some people take our freedom for granted. I think we are currently in very dangerous times and with the Anti-American sentiment, well lets just say I would not want China to be in charge of the world. In reflection, Clinton could of sold out to China, maybe not the best example but at least I was able to provide adequate food and clothing to my kids during his administration.

But the Clinton's are globalists.

They want a strong UN.

After you've been leader of the free world, and are forbidden to have that job again (until the constitution can be done away with) what's the next rung on the ladder of power?

Oh, yeah baybe, we can be the leaders of the whole world and there's no expiration on that gig Hill! We're in!

Yes I do agree that the whole UN global thing is scary, but again I would rather have a good leader even at the consequence of some loose morals. I would prefer the ultimate of good ethics, morals, leadership, intelligence, etc. but I haven't seen any of those type of people to judge from.

hey, morals, I obviously have little concern.

But if it was me that that man lied about, I'd kick him in the nads! Maybe go Bobbit on his tired act!

Keep talking. The longer you speak, the more accurately I can gauge you.

So far I detect a pedestrian texas-type trailer-trash (or texas-type lawyer-trash) mentality.
