Gobbler's Knob

Somebody had to say it.

Happy Groundhog Day, peeps!

And a Happy Candlemas to you, Ben!

"If Candlemas be fair and bright,
Six weeks more winter are in sight."

Here, it's partly cloudy with some snow squalls. So, we won't know what to expect.

Six more weeks of winter? Pfui! It's sunny and warm here. :D

For what it's worth, I woke up this morning and went outside. I did not see my shadow. :(

If that country rhyme is applicable to the UK, we are in trouble!

It comes from the UK, HP. The Americans turned it into groundhog day. If it were clear and bright, it would indicate a high pressure atmospheric system. In February, that would have formed over Greenland/North Atlantic, and would be nice and cold.

Oh I am aware of the High Pressure System and it's implications.
The snag is we need it more in the Summer. . . .
Now, where did I put my Radio. . . . CQ CQ CQ. . . .
