Go Spurs Go!

Parker's having a hell of a night! 28 points! Unless I heard incorrectly, that's his personal record for a playoff game.

Can't wait to see how this turns out . . . .

six and a half minutes left.
Yeah, just when you think Phoenix is dead...

Hey, never know . . . we saw that last night when San Antonio was way behind. The reverse might happen here.

But I sure as hell hope not ;)

Fuck, this is close . . . I love it :D
They should have gone to fouling Duncan with 4 minutes left...they would have won. How any coach in his right mind lets the other team run the clock out with his team down by double-digits is an idiot.

Obi-Wan Ginobilli works his magic again!

:D

Now comes all the last-minute time-outs . . . . grrr.

It will, indeed . . . at the least, I hope for a close game . . . and at the most, the Spurs slipping on their fifth ring ;)

No, but I'll pass them out to all the Pistons' players . . . :D

They'll deserve something for giving the Spurs a run.

Of course they will---The title. :D

We'll have to see...LeBron really is an amazing player. If the supporting cast plays well, they'll be tough to beat. Maybe they're young enough to not realize they aren't as good as the Pistons.

Oh, those dreams are quite ambitious, aren't they? :)

You'll need them when the Spurs come home waving the penant.

One player doesn't make the game. We saw that tonight. Duncan, Barry, Ginobilli, Parker, Findley . . . they all contributed, and it really was a team effort. MVP aside, I think every member of the Spurs understands that not one of them carried the win. They have a humility that is potent and powerful in the NBA.

I doubt the Cavs have that.

And even if the Cavaliers do pull it off, they'll have an even worse time than the Pistons.

IMHO.

See who ends up having a nightmare instead. :p

We'll see. The Cavs are a strange team, prone to be really mediocre, then have outstanding performances. It doesn't hurt that they have probably the most dominant player in the game to fill in the gaps the rest of them leave. They'd have to really play well to beat Detroit (or the Pistons would have to be really off), but I'd like them more against the Spurs because of the matchups. Still, Utah isn't going to lay down. I'm betting that will be a very interesting (if not thrilling) series. Utah is way too physical to get pushed around like the Suns were. I don't know if that can translate to a win, but it should be fun to watch.
