It's a bit funny. In an earlier threads, months ago, I posted "Go Canes!" and that was the single reference to the team.
Carolina is full of hockey fever. Ever since the team moved from Greensboro to Raleigh, the fan base has increase. But the last two seasons have done a lot of the team.
This should prove to be quite exciting.

I am still convinced that if a hockey team from North Carolina wins the Stanely Cup that a sign of the apocolypse! However being a born, bred and proud North Carolinian I gotta say GO CANES!

NOTE: Also being a lifelong and second generation Dukie, I can and will NEVER call my self a Tarheel. In spite of the 8 direct generations through my father that have lived in the North Carolina mountians.

Glad to see that hockey fever is infecting NC. The same thing happened to Dallas when the Stars moved down there. Of course, now that Brett Hull is a Red Wing, I'm afraid I'm rooting for Detroit. I just hope the Canes win at least one game, to keep the series interesting.

I'm just hoping the series is fast, furious and exciting! As a Ranger fan, I'm used to rooting for the "underdog", but haven't yet decided who that is this time around!
