There is nothing better than watching the Canadian Jr's kick a little international ass during the holiday season! Jr hockey is as good as the pro game.. hard hitting, full out emotional play.

But I don't like those black jerseys. Sure they look sharp but Canada's colors are red and white!

2-0 so far against Sweeden.. Lookin good so far!

I can't believe all the talk Jordin Tootoo is getting! He's quite the sparkplug and a real steal for Nashville (I didn't realize until last night he was drafted). Being that he's a Wheat King, I can't admit to liking him a whole lot... except for the nest couple of weeks!

Ok so I was slightly off.. They wore red today and the crowd was a "sea of red"

That game against Germany caused a little concern, but it's good to see Scottie Upshall took the team on his back. Hard to believe I was watching him as a member of the Ft. Mac. Oil Barons of the AJHL three years ago.

That's one jersey I won't be owning. I have a hard enough time accepting the partial black on Team Canada's logo..

All kidding aside, I understand what you mean. In a lot of sports, there seems to be this effort to make black a predominating color. I have no idea why, maybe intimidation?

When I played football we wore very pretty red and blue uniforms. Not only did we kick ass, we looked good doing it. Seems it would be worse getting stomped by some pretty boys then it would getting stomped by a bunch of thugs.

That's only my opinion though.

Personally I don't care what uniform colors you are wearing... wearing all black won't scare me and wearing bright pastels doesn't make me think any less of you.

But when it comes to Team Canada.. it should be red and white. Nowhere on our flag do I see black. I guess it's not the first time Canada has gone away from the red and white colors.. Back in the late 70's they wore blue and white.
