We used to have a good night/good morning thread, but its long disappeared into the annals of the archive, so..............

Good morning beautiful people.
It's Sunday, its yet another glorious spring day here in Britland. Sun's shining, no wind, blue sky and already getting warm (that's a relative term, considering where I am, the time of year, the time of day, and normal temperatures for those criteria).

Morning, Mats. I'm up late here in Texas reading contest entries. Haven't gotten to yours, yet, but will. Saving the best for last, don't you know?

Hope you have a great day.

Morning She....best part of the day......quiet, peaceful, reflective.

Sundays are the kind of day you can hate and love....you love them, because when you wake up, you realise its still the weekend, and you don't have to go to work today. Hate, because you know its the last day of freedom, and tomorrow its back to the grind. Poor old Sundays, they get caught in the middle, and just don't deserve it.

It's really beautiful here, and I'm hoping I can persuade the wife into a walk along the beach later. With no wind, it will be glorious.

*turns down the volume*....Sorry, She

...I'm great today. Life is good, and we're gearing up for our rapidly approaching trip to the States.

*excited wiggle on my chair*

I spent 6 months between Nov 05 and August 06 in the states. The wife hails from Phoenix, Az, and I gave up my job here in UK so I could go out there and be with her. We finally settled together here in UK last August. We will be trying to get to States for at least one visit each year. My brother lives in Texas as well, so this year, for the first time, we are including a trip to see him in our itinerary.

If the old man won't leave the tv.....leave him to it...go out and have some fun on your own behalf.

You're welcome.

Morning sweetheart. Enjoy the funfair.

Right now, I need food.....might even go for a Full English...*drools*. Anyone want to join me? Bacon, sausage, egg, beans, tomato, fried bread, toast, marmalade, coffee/tea. (No mushrooms, don't like them fried, only as part of something else.).

I read this, did a, "Say what?" double-take and hustled back to the ED entry list to check on how I managed to screw up this time. Best I can figure, my mind, such as it is, must have been thinking of Munachi's entry.

The new week's just begun and I've already done gone and messed up, again.

Think of it as the end of the previous week and start afresh tomorrow.

Sort of a lost weekend. That should work. I've had some experience with them.
