I was wondering if anyone has gone GMO free? I am trying to get into a more natural lifestyle and I am having trouble with GMOs they seem to be every where and not always labeled. Does anyone have any tips or advice for a newbie in natural living?

Also, if you buy organic meat, eggs, and milk, the livestock used to produce it has generally been raised GM free.
I am pretty much GMO free, but I don't really have a choice in the matter.
I eat very little if any processed foods because I can't.
I don't have soy, corn or canola.
I don't choose my foods by their GMO-free status, I choose by what I can eat, they just happen to GMO-free.
For me GMO is just more possible allergens.
Virtually everything you consume is genetically modified, It was selectively bred to be what it is. Gene-splicing speeds the process but it's the same process The result of the process, however it's approached, is to produce more food to feed more people. Eliminating GMO foods now would cause massive starvation, even genocide.
I recall a report from a couple decades back, detailing a meeting of the Politburo in Beijing. The commissars agreed upon a strategy of buying-up GMO patents while funding anti-GMO propaganda. The goal is to control the West's food supply. Instill and exploit fear. (How many anti-GMO groups survive on Chinese money?) When global warming destroys traditional croplands and global starvation looms, China can whip out its survivable GMO crops and say, "Pay up or die."
When starving masses assault your anti-GMO doors, what you gonna do?

Agreed.<snip> I'ts not the same process.
Not even remotely close.
Jesus Christ in a bucket, stop spreading the 100% completely bogus info....please.
I'ts not the same process.
Not even remotely close.
True enough, but when the results are the same...

Consumption of fish and seafood, specifically, has been rising meteorically since the early 1980s. Today, a typical Chinese consumes more seafood than a typical American. And that, of course, has led to many an article about the imminent depletion of global fish stocks and subsequent environmental catastrophe.
But people who worry about the new and more expensive eating habits of people in formerly poor countries need not worry too much. Human ingenuity and free markets have a way of satisfying demand in affordable and environmentally sustainable ways.
Consider aquaculture. According to a recent Bloomberg story, scientists in Australia "are attempting to unlock the genome of the Black Tiger prawn to make a super invertebrate that will grow faster, fight disease more effectively and taste better than its free-roaming brethren… The prawns will grow on a 10,000 hectare… slice of the Legune cattle ranch, near the border of the Northern Territory and Western Australia."

Buy land, with water on it, do it yourself.
