It's fairly warm here. I think it got as high as the mid 70's.

According to both CNN and the Weather channel, despite the record early snowfalls in some places, this is on average the warmest winter this century. (so far)
Global Warming doesn't necessarily mean that everyplace on the globe will be warmer all the time. It does mean that the climate will be so screwed up that nobody can predict what will happen in any one place.

All I know is that it is december 19th I have every window in my apartment wide open, all the heat turned off and the fan blowing in the warm air from outside. that is just plain wrong, for New Brunswick Canada.

Is Global Warming a fantasy?
About a month ago a friend emailed an article to me which claimed the Global Warming/Greenhouse Effect thing was basically a sham. I thought the article was BS - until I started looking for anything on the Internet from a credible, scientific source (not the government) which supports the theory. Guess what? I couldn't find one! I found plenty of .org conservation/ecological web pages telling us of the dangers of ozone depletion, glacier melting, etc., but nothing that even approached scientific proof. In fact, there now seems to be a backlash from scientists who say the whole theory is groundless.
Maybe someone can find data from a source other than Greenpeace, etc. to support it. Until then I'll feel like someone has pulled the wool over my eyes.
