Glasses: Sexy or not? Do you wear them?

Well, here it is. Today I got my new glasses. This is the first time in my life that I have had to wear glasses to help my vision. I dunno how I feel about them yet. Contacts are fun, but a major pain in the ass. The glasses are easier to wear, but are a major appearance change.

So, how do you feel about glasses in general, on men or women? Do you find them sexy or a turn off?? Do you wear them?

I wear 'em. Don't really want to, but I don't have a choice if I want to see what's going on.

I don't think they're especially sexy. Maybe it depends on the attitude of the one wearing them?

Don't wear glasses, but I do wear contacts. Glasses can look sexy on some people, OR make them look sexier.

I don`t wear them, but I do find them attractive on some people. I think it just depends on the girl and how they look on her face. Some girls with glasses are extremely good looking while on others I would gladly offer to buy them contacts. That`s my humble opinion. Later.

I never wear them when I go out to clubs so therefore can never see all the hot guys my girlfriends keep pointing out to me. Good thing I go out to have a good time with my friends rather than pick up a one-night-stand.

Glasses are sexy! There is something alluring in the gesture of someone removing their glasses. Something remarkable about looking deep into the eyes of someone who has removed glasses. removing the glasses of someone you are about to kiss. Of course I wear glasses!
In reality, I'm quite sure it depends more on the person who is wearing them.

don't wear them myself, and i'll agree some people can't pull off glasses. but in most cases glasses just frame the eyes, in turn drawing more attention where it belongs makeing a person look better.

Wow, I really wanna thank all of you for your response. I didn't think there would be many who had any thing to say on the subject. haha

I think I agree with you. It depends on the person and how they carry themself. I've seen women who look really elegant and classy in glasses, and men who look very distinguished and sexy!

TN, Luckily I only need them to see things in a distance. So.... I can see the cute guys up close and the ones far away are fuzzy enough they look cute too hehe

i have never liked my glasses until now with these pair. my old ones always made me look dorky, not at all dorky chic. i'd be really self conscious when i went to clubs. and it would really suck when my friends would point out a hot guy across the room, and i'd have to squint like a mole to try to see him.

oh and contacts are a bad idea for me because i'm only supposed to wear glasses when i have to ie driving, in class. wearing contacts would require me to poke myself in the eye about five times a day.

I wear contacts (YES, they're a major pain in the ass! But I'm too vain to wear glasses. )

My personal experience: My lover had surgery a few months ago. He couldn't get his contacts in for several days, so he had to wear his glasses. Yes, it was a significant appearance change, as it had been many years since I'd seen him in them. I think he looks sexier with the contacts, cause you can't see his pretty "baby blues" as well thru his glasses.

I don't wear glasses for correction purposes but I can rarely venture out without sunglasses on. But, I do find glasses sexy on a man. I think if I ever need anything for correction, I would go with contacts, though.

I can't say that glasses are a turn-on or a turn-off. How about they are just there. I wear them now, used to wear contacts in the past and wasn't about to wear glasses. I guess if you wore a really truly ugly pair, that would detract from your appearance, otherwise, they just exist.

Yea, my wife and I do generally take them off for sex and other things as they get in the way - no other reason. But then, it's kind of a bitch taking a shower with them on too. On the other hand, I have worn them in a pool at a swinger's club! Didn't want to miss much.

Yea, I used to care once upon a time, and in a way I guess, was really vain about them. It was contacts or nothing, and believe me, with nothing I wasn't seeing squat! Ya get older ya mellow out some I guess.

It can take time to find the right frames for your face, though.

I have glasses but never wear them in public. I am one of those that look like a 4 eyed librarian. (Not that there's anything wrong with that.) Not too many men find staring into my beautiful Coke bottle bottoms mesmerizing. Hypnotizing and disorienting, maybe, if they stare too long into the distortion.

I wear my contacts because, just like Tn Vixen, I would not only not be able to see any cute guys, I probably wouldn't even see the building!

Some people actually look good in glasses but I am not sure how to explain that - maybe they just start off better looking. But patient1, if you are like me, finding the 'right' frames could be impossible. When I try on frames, they never end up looking the same once they have the lenses. Anybody know what I mean?

I think if you choose the right frame for your face, glasses look good on almost anybody. I've been wearing them for a few years now. It beats running into walls!

I wear them but don't really like them. I used to wear contacts but decided to give my eyes and wallet a rest (disposables are really cool though).

I do like them on some women. It's what I like to call the 'Sexy Librarian' look.

I"m a glasses person, too - and have been since I was in the fifth grade.

I got to thinking, before I posted this (GASP!) and noticed that every woman I've ever dated has also worn glasses! So....yeah..they must be sexy, huh? At least they're sexier than a woman squinting all the time like a mole in the bright light.
