I wear glasses and occasionally have my characters be myopic (near sighted) but i find it distracting to write about as glasses either fall off or have to be removed or in my case if i do take them off the world goes really fuzzy.

I've had boyfriends who kept taking them off when i wanted to be able to see

and other boyfriends who i took them off and they were all upset about me not being able to see them

and I've seriously considered lasik, I want to be able to spot my kids (if I ever have any) in the pool without worrying about my glasses or contacts.

I read in an interview a while a go that she considers herself to be a bit of a geek, and that she does need the glasses, but sometimes wears contacts. I alsoread that story and liked it a lot, and those are some nice pics morag has posted.
