I miss My Girl. All that lovey-duvey stuff, sure, but I think I miss pridefully mounting her and going at it like its going out of style.

Not poetic, I know, but its all that's on my mind today.

LOL, trust me, I'm single and it's on my mind every day *sigh*.

By the way, you do realize the danger you are walking in to by referring to her as "Your girl," right? Just trying to keep you safe. You already admitted to singing karaoke and liking corporations. You really do like living dangerously, don't you? Oh well, everyone likes a rebel. You go, man.

We just had a thread where we determined it was wrong to call a woman "girl", didn't we? Now I'm confused. I never know what to call anyone :(

did we? musta missed it or skipped over that part...
I guess it depends on the person... I don't mind it, am not threatened by it and find it endearing... *shrug*

SDes -on this occassion, Joe has refered to the love of his life as "My girl" since he first arrived here, so regular watchers know who he's on about. :D

And I don't mind what you call me, as long as it's polite. I especially love it when Americans call me Ma'am. *swoons*

I frequently refer to Dora (my lover) as my girl. And I don't apologize at all for it.

I don't really care about the girl thing (although I wish you lovelies would make up your minds), I was just worried about Joe admitting to Karaoke and the love of businesses. The man is walking in a minefield and I don't want to see him hurt.

He's one of the center-right camp, so he should be safe. Roxy and R. Richard (as well as Zeb, Box, and occasionally myself) will have his back.

Many of the best women don't care what you call them, as long as you are doing it with love and you're really present with them when you say you will be.

Also, women who appreciate femininity will much prefer if you take a risk and use your words (and body) the way you feel will best serve and then pay attention to her feedback and alter your course if you judge it's necessary instead of staying stuck in confusion and indecision.
