Well my girlfriend doesn't suck dick I asked her why once during sex and she said that it hurts because she has had her tonsils taken out as a kid. I didn't want to make a big deal about it at the time so I just let it go; that really didn't seem like a truthful reason though. Well I had my tonsils removed when I was in the 4th grade I was 9 then and I am now 29 almost 30. She is LYING TO YOU!! I have no issues no problems hell I suck my hubbys dick all the time every single damn chance I get.

I had my tonsils removed as a child, and I experience no pain while giving head. Quite the opposite, I love giving head. I feel my ability to deepthroat for long periods of time and without gagging is partly as a result of my tonsilectomy. But what do I know? I'm no doctor.

So, there can be some lasting effects. It sounds like your gf is making an excuse, but I wouldn't be quick to call her a liar since surgeries can be botched and people heal differently. It's possible she has some residual pain or other problems. Maybe you can work on different techniques and positions to make it easier for her over time.

I'd say give the relationship time to develop unless this is a dealbreaker, then propose compromises like kissing/licking/sucking just the head and finding positions that might be more comfortable for her.
