Hey, Crimson, If it helps, I have a big, brownish bruise-like discoloration on my right cheek, similar to a birthmark. I have found I have had the most success in terms of blending with revlon colorstay. It is the only brand I have tried on the market that doesn't have the pinkish hue commonly found in other products, which serves to only highlight said mark rather then conceal. I also have fairly dark skin though, so results may vary if you are lighter toned.
You can pretty much purchase it at most drug marts or wal-marts, and cost is approx. 7 dollars Canadian.
Tip: Assuming the scars aren't too deep, and do in fact bare a brownish-redish hue, might be a good idea to go a touch lighter than the rest of your skin, then follow up with a powder or foundation which matches your flesh tone. They will usually let you try a sampler at the counter if you are unsure.
Charley: Lancome concealer/foundation rules! Is the only resonably priced waterproof one out there.
Errrr... Sorry Doc.
Lipstick: A tube can keep me going for well over a year, but I don't think you are suppose to use them after that time because they expire. I own only two, though I'm probably out of the norm because I'm usually too lazy to color my face aside from a little blush and concealer.
Blush: I think rouge sounds much prettier.
Eyelids: I put cucumbers on mine sometimes when they are all puffy, but I doubt that's what you meant.
Purses: Only when I don't have pockets, as I tend to forget I'm carrying them and leave them behind otherwise. I do have a really cute collection of about ten, however. My mom keeps buying them for me because she hates seeing me shove everything into my pockets.
