He's one of those people you talk to for 5 minutes and have to take a shower afterwards. He only got elected because of the anti-Dem sentiment at the time. No way he would have won any other year.

At one point Tuesday, he told House colleagues he had "purchased 278 cases of Girl Scout cookies in the last 48 hours."

And when time came for the House to adjourn, he asked all lawmakers who had been Girl Scouts --
and seemingly every female legislator stood -- to give the daily motion to adjourn.

It was a snack prompted by state Rep. Bob Morris, a Fort Wayne Republican who recently sent an email
to fellow GOP lawmakers explaining why he had been the lone lawmaker opposing a resolution

(AP) INDIANAPOLIS — An Indiana lawmaker has accused the Girl Scouts of being a radical group that promotes abortions and homosexuality.

The Girl Scouts flatly deny Republican Rep. Bob Morris' charges.

Morris, of Fort Wayne, told The Associated Press that people should not accept the 100-year-old scouting organization as a benevolent group.

Morris wrote a letter to House Republicans Saturday saying he had found evidence on the Internet that the scouts are a "tactical arm" of Planned Parenthood.

Planned Parenthood issued a separate statement calling Morris' charges "woefully inaccurate."

Morris' stance became the butt of jokes inside the Indiana House Tuesday. Speaker Brian Bosma, a fellow Republican, joked that he bought 278 cases of Girl Scout cookies and spent much of the day distributing Thin Mint cookies to lawmakers.
