Ginger figging

I did a search and didn't find much on the topic so I thought I would ask around. I have read about this on line and have tried it myself, I just wanted other's perspectives.

1. Have you ever done it?
2. What was your reaction?


For those of you who don't know what I am talking about, "figging" was supposedly a technique used during the Victorian era to keep a person from clenching their butt cheeks during a spanking.

Here is the procedure:

Buy a "hand" of fresh ginger root at the grocery store. Pick a "finger" of it that looks like a good fit and break it off. Wash and peel the root to expose the inside. DO NOT wash off the natural juices. Stick this piece into your asshole and hold on!

(If you are holding onto the towel rack in the bathroom, you will probably rip it off the wall.)

You might want to poke a hole in the ginger root and tie a string through the hole so that you have a way to pull it out. I use a cheap "t" type corkscrew for this purpose. With the part that goes in the cork screwed into the ginger, it keeps it just inside your asshole where most of the nerve endings are anyway.

Another perspective

Yes, I have tried it. I found it to build to a warm. mildly burning sensation; for me, was not painful, and combined with music, atmosphere, and other stimulation, very pleasant. I have heard that others have found it to be painful, some even say torturous, and I assume this is an example of how differently people can react to things. I am not a masochist and kinda wimpy when it comes to many things... but for me, figging was a pleasant surprise, as I had read negative things about it, but I found it to be, as I said, a warm slightly stinging sensation.
